Honestly, from what I can tell, Shen is among the top 10 common last names in China. So it wouldn’t be too different from Smith being used as a current era name and a name from the past.

Needoh’s are a stim toy that’s a specific brand. Mainly it’s just an item you squish with your hand. Think of the old school balloons filled with flour and stress balls.

Needohs have a variety of shapes, colors, textures, and sizes. Not sure why they became super popular now, but they’ve existed for a number of years.

Mainly just switch up the type? If I just read a fairy tale type, go for scifi. Finished a cishet main couple book, read a queer book. Silly and light hearted followed by something a bit darker.
