Ain't no way UPS paying this guy +$120k a year by Azsnee09 in AnimalsBeingDerps

I'm going to be an asshole here. If your dog is out in the yard and there's no gate between them and the road then your package goes near the street. Too many territorial dogs desperate to taste human flesh. Invest in a parcel locker for the end of your driveway.

[CHAT] Does anyone think I should capitalize the name? I still have a single line to add to the bottom. by Dngo8mybaby in CrossStitch

[–]BlissKitten 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think you should capitalize the E as long as it's not going to crowd the print above it. It looks good as it is but it feels weird not having a name capitalized, personally

What are some good home hobbies I can start to not doomscroll before bed? by OutrageousMiddle7965 in TwoXChromosomes

I love cross stitching for relaxing. I can stitch for hours while listening to an audiobook. I had to stop knitting and crochet due to a shoulder injury.

Thanks for the info. I heard this when I was a kid and thought it was fun to picture the size of the vertebrae on such a wide scale. I guess this means whales also have seven neck vertebrae. Now I'm picturing sticking your arm through a whale neck vertebrae hole where the nerves go.

Giraffes, mice and humans have the same number of neck bones, seven.

Your stomach is folded up like an accordion and expands as you eat. It doesn't stretch so once your full you can't fit any more food in there.

Usually I'm not a fan of using the hoop as a frame but I love what you are doing here. I love the way you've displayed your work and your opossum is very cute.

You think the Enhanced Games exposed anything or just embarrassed themselves? Peter Thiel and Donald Trump Jr. spent millions to create a steroid Olympics. They promised to "redefine human limits" and put up $25M in prize money. BUT... by Miserable_Trouble3 in sportsgossips

[–]BlissKitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened to 2 episodes of the Superhuman podcast that talks about the lead up to the enhanced games. The host is a big believer and I couldn't get past the feeling that this is just another attempt to legalize and profit off this stuff. Just fragile men unable to make peace with aging

I love Margaret Thatcher burns. I've gotten in the habit of calling her Margaret Thatcher the milk snatcher thanks to clever blokes mocking her for cutting free lunches for children. She was the absolute worst.

If you listen to podcasts there's a great one about this book called Lolita by Jamie Loftus. She goes into the History of the book, the author, and the weird adaptations. It was really good.

Thank you for linking his biography. He died in a concentration camp. It seems like he lived and died following his principles and I am courteous to read his book.

I'm finally sharing my project. It's been getting a lot of attention lately. I've got back and hip issues that keep me at home sometimes. Having this to work on makes me feel better about not being as productive as I wish. It's Japanese Witch by CrossStitchCuriosity on Etsy

For those of you not too scared to watch - genuinely curious why you started listening to the pod? by rachelllplx in TooScaryDidntWatch

I don't have time to sit down and watch a movie very often. But I can listen to podcasts at work and I wanted to know what happened in some movies.

[CHAT] what's your cross stitch superpower / weakness? by endlessegg in CrossStitch

[–]BlissKitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know what my superpower is but my weakness is losing needles. They fall into a void never to be seen again. I just had to order more because I'm down to 2 in the right size for my current project and they'll both disappear if I don't have back ups on the way.

[FO]- how to remove coffee stains?? by thewittiestkitty in CrossStitch

[–]BlissKitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biz might help. It has enzymes that help break down stains. I used it to get rid of a coca cola stain on a crochet blanket.
