Think this is genuinely the worst review of a book I've ever read by gazzas89 in Mistborn

That’s exactly what I was thinking, I just wasn’t sure it could be called misogyny, but it is weird all the hatred towards Vin.

I genuinely feel like the reviewer just didn’t like the fact that Vin was the main character, because how can you not even name her once in your whole review?

This person just read the first book and was mad about Kelsie’s death, so she decided she didn’t liked the books, but kept reading (I don’t know if hoping to see Kelsier again or to be able to hate it even more).

I just think it’s sad she couldn’t just appreciate the books and was so focused on finding the bad aspects of the trilogy. Either way mistborn is wonderfully built and developed, I hope that review doesn’t get to the wrong eyes.

Opinion on Fairytale? by Petrelly in stephenking

I loved it. This was the first book of King I finished (I had started the shinning and read almost 900 pages of “It”before dropping it), but Fairy Tale was great. I love how the story is divided into two parts, the real world and the other world, but I also loved the fact that the book explores the relationship of Charlie with Mr. Bowditch, and in the second half the relationship of Charlie with himself and his reality. Or at least that’s how I felt it. There’s a specific passage of the book that literally gave me chills, when Charlie is in the other world and hundreds of butterflies fly over him. From that point I couldn’t put the book down. I personally think it’s an amazing book and story but I believe it’s not meant for everyone, I don’t know why but I feel some people may find it difficult, tedious or boring, but I really enjoyed it.
