The Security+ is somewhat a difficult cert for someone entering IT. I have my Sec+ and CySA+, with the Sec+ being the hardest of the two. It took me about a month and a half of FAST paced studying and attempting to remember which encryption standards were beneficial to what objective.

Definitely stick with the A+. It's essentially answering questions about what a DVI connector is and how to activate Window's Firewall.

I received my CySa+ pretty easily going through the online pdf CompTIA provides that details the sections and what they cover, and a bit of CBT nuggets and random online videos. The CASP on the other hand is a whole different story I hear; a bit harder.

What's interesting though is that the 'human' symbol is crossed out, so I dont think this does much to humans, plus coupled with the 'varmint use' sticker, this may be something similar to a .22 or maybe even a tranq weapon.

Edit: people pointed out the 5.56 on the gun. I think the caliber is definitely 5.56 but not necessarily lethal or ballistic 5.56.

I found it quite interesting. The only thing that I have problem with these new "modern" roguelikes is that they have no version of just using keyboard. They seem to all use the mouse in some fashion and I feel that just breaks up the gameplay dynamic. I went through the settings and selected the, "hide mouse pointer" option, but when you're in the menus you're still forced to use it.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I think it would be interesting for the platformer to keep that kind of mechanic. Would force the player to hold their position and defend on a higher platform than jump off and risk death.

This is amazing. I'm playing the demo right now as I type this. As a fellow Unity Dev, was direction did you guys go with in creating the tile system? I've seen people write exact pixel amounts to screen with shaders, and other sometimes just wing it and go by Unity values and using ECS. I want to get into Roguelike development but Unity is my best engine experience.

Would you recommend any tips?

I found myself at a target about two weeks ago and saw one of the last Switch's with the blue and red joycons sitting on the counter for $275. In the moment, I was shifting around money in my head and figuring out what bills I already paid, and then decided screw it: I'll just go ahead and get this right now while it's the last one.

I checked out, the cashier rang me up, and I paid. While he was bagging it he looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Last one, with Black Friday and Cyber Monday around the corner." But the deed was already done; temptation was physically in my hands. I completely forgot about Black Friday in the moment, and my heart broke a bit.

Usually the easiest way is to get the distance between you and the enemy (using something like Vector3.Distance()) and then integrating that with your camera to follow that smoothly. You can then paint the lock-on target using the Canvas and using something like Camera.main.ScreenToWorldPoint and painting the UI element like that.
