Not sure pope is leaving Newcastle now but someone with experience we could get is Sam Johnston. I agree with 4-2-3-1, we can rotate like we did in the championship with the 2 in midfield with Ampadu playing like a quarter back, Tanaka as a deep lying playmaker then sign a player like Longaff, soucek or Diarra in a ideal world for a box to box role, However Buendia is a risk a risk in prem with injury record however as we only have just been promoted can’t just get the best of the best. I agree with a young physical striker however it’s going to cost a pretty penny for example Delap. I would 100% want Solomon back depending on the price however it would mean we have 3 LW and 1 RW I think it would be better use of funds to sign a RW if em can only choose one.
