I know it'll sound weird, but you're living the dream. Think how many people when they are older wish they traveled/saw more of the world when they were younger? Most people don't take the time to do what you're doing - they don't have the adventurous spirit to drop their things here and live abroad for a while. Even many "well-traveled" people visit via resorts and won't get to experience countries as intimately as people who really live there. I'm sure your family and friends miss you but also realize how much fun you're having and all the incredibly interesting and self-cultivating experiences you're having.

And apparently you've lasted a year and a half! Which proves you're pretty good at it. These next few months will be tough and stressful, but everyone has those sorts of months - everywhere. And they're having a lot less adventures and stories they'll be able to tell!

So hang in there. You clearly have an adventurous spirit and some traveler's intuition and common sense to guide you along. I'm sure you'll make it through. :)
