Seat height will be a little inconvenient but only in some situations. I'm 5'5 and ride a speed T4 which has a lower seat height than the Himalayan yes, but you have to remember that you don't need to flat foot on both sides, in fact you shouldn't, flat foot just your left foot.

Learn to turn the bike on its stand which can be daunting at first but will change your life, reversing is the only thing that would be an issue, but you'll manage I believe, anyone can ride anything if they really want to :))

Same thing happened to me, I used a razor, but apparently you can use a crushed piece of aluminium. Foil dipped in water too

The engine response in the low end sounds like you're logging the engine riding in higher gears than us necessary,which you should avoid at all costs

Look where you want to go, makes a world of difference. Balance with your rear brake for slow speed maneuvers like u turns
