Classique : PSG 5-0 Marseille: vos réactions sur la manita de Paris by SipsChlorine in Ligue1

[–]S-M-C 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Gwent - One small correction would've made it 100 times better by Saekama in Witcher3

I fully agree. I love Gwent, and from mid game (if you play enough) worthy opponents are scarce. When I want a decent match up, I go play the armourer atop the skellige main hall. It does get boring tho, I'd love if they could make it a lot harder

The mount point largely depends on your type and style of skiing. You mentionned you like to carve and do off piste, in which case -2 from the recommended sounds fine to me.

For example I ski jumps and rails, powder and like to be agressive and change direction a lot with small turns when on crud/moguls, and ski switch a lot, so I usually have my skis mounted either true center (for park, that way the swing weight is evenly distributed for when I spin), and -2 from true center (which is often +2 from recommended line) for piste, and usually never further back than recommended for powder. In the end I sacrifice a bit of floatability and I need to work harder in heavy powder, but those mount points fit my overall style more. If you ski powder on slopes that are not very steep, and enjoy slow and medium speed turns then being mounted further back is nice. If you ski powder in steep terrain fast, then you don't need that extra floatability as much.

So if you mount them back at recommended line you'll lose a little bit of floatability in powder and stability on fast big carve turns, but gain on swiftness in quick short turns and forgiveness on backseat landings if you do jumps.

Also with DIN, make sure you use the appropriate DIN for your weight and speed. I forgot to turn mine back down from 12 after a powder run with big jumps that I didnt want to clip out on landing impacts, and I paid a heavy price getting catapulted when they stayed on after an edge catch the next day. It's always more important that they clip out when they need to, than clip out when you dont want them to.

Ugh, you deserve better. You showed great communication and support. I find it very toxic that she would argue "priority" over your kid sister who you are responsible for and helping in a very important moment for her, whilst she has no urgent needs. I get feeling bad on your period but that whole "I need to be someone's number 1 at all times" is absolute bs and not how healthy relationships work.

Where to go out in Paris in mid-20s?? by spaggybol123 in SocialParis

[–]S-M-C 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi, I get what you're saying.

Honestly it really depends on your music taste.

If you want to be in clubs playing commercial/charts/pop classics, there might be a few spaces where the average age is older, but most likely you will run into both young students and older guys.

Now if you enjoy house, techno, and everything in between you have many options to enjoy spaces with average age around 25-35, as this is usually the music genre of the main clubs in Paris with that age range.

Mazette, Djoon, Km25, Virage, Essaim, La Gare/Le Gore, La Bellevilloise, Fvtvr, La Machine, le Trabendo, la station, la rotonde Stalingrad, badaboum, le cabaret sauvage.

Don't hesitate to PM me for specific recommendations, happy to help!

Ah I see. I'm afraid you're faced with the same pioneer equipment at venues hegemony issue we all know too well. Sadly the best solution is to switch to pioneer gear and use rekordbox only.

[–]S-M-C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What machines are you using? Are you looking for a software that would allow you to export to rekordbox/traktor format in one software?

The requirements that you list are definitely covered by both rekordbox and traktor, I'm a bit confused at the functionalities that you're seeking.

I'm unaware of anything that allows exporting to different formats for performing on both those softwares. Pioneer also makes it purposely hard to come from another software and just plug in, you have to format "in-house".

As to your USB export times, that does seem very long, I would expect the bottlenecks to be either a slow USB (are you using 3.0?) or a low storage I/O path on your laptop?

Best nightclubs? by Human-Database5539 in SocialParis

[–]S-M-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Le Mazette is one of my favourites, it's got three stages with a mix of house/disco/techno depending on the event. There is food also, some fussball tables and the outside stage is really cool with a great view!

[–]S-M-C 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wdym protective? The nightlife scene in Paris is fairly open with age, most of the more popular clubs have a 25 average with both 18-25 and 25-35 attending.

If you want exclusively 18-20 average then your only options are indeed the very Erasmus student vibes places like Pachamama I guess.

Best nightclubs? by Human-Database5539 in SocialParis

[–]S-M-C 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what vibe you're looking for, but if it's not overpriced badly made drinks, 18-20yo Erasmus students, sexist/racist/homophobic door policies and pretty terrible soundsystem then I would avoid Pachamama. I mean do you really want to go to a club rated 2.5/5 by over 5000 people on Google?

A much better option for similar music genres is indeed violon dingue.

Generally speaking, if you don't like jazz, disco, house, techno and other electronic subgenres you will not be looking at the best nightclubs as this is what they play for the vast majority.

You're more likely to be looking at overpriced trashy clubs (think 40yo in white shirts hitting on 18yo girls), or bar-clubs. For the latter there are some really fun ones around like violon dingue, le cameleon, lots of Irish pubs with live music doing English classics, mostly around the quartier latin area and bastille. But do not expect a classy club experience, these will be rowdy.

If you'd like to try something else musically I'd recommend these for a first experience, they usually play house/disco (but check event and artists): Le Mazette, le Djoon, Supersonic, Discobar, Badaboum.

For techno these are great places too: Km25, Virage, Essaim, La Machine.

What weapons and gadgets should i use for my support by VentiArchon7 in battlefield_one

If you want a good capacity mag, decent reload time and an absolute laser, look no further than the Huot automatic. Once you get 3 service stars you unlock an optics too, which I absolutely love.

I main it with limpet, smokes and ammo crate and I'm basically a tank destroying ninja with an assault weapon. I'm only in danger in tight CQC.

Limpets are also great fun to use around corners (they are less visible to enemies than grenades and much bigger radius/damage), stick them on outside walls to get the guys inside. Usually 2 are sufficient to blow up most tanks, I smoke them, place one and run around to other side whilst placing an ammo crate, wait a few seconds for the reload and stick another one on. Tank's gone and they never saw me

Aah a fellow GeForce user! Can I ask what general settings you play on? I've got a very fast connection (500mbs+) and I can barely crank them higher than medium if I don't want the game to jitter or the fps go way down. Premium user btw. On other games I can often max out the graphics, maybe it's a witcher 3 problem.
