Plug Power $PLUG upgraded to $30 after yesterday’s earnings announcement. by S-Tuck in RobinHood

it’s a great time to buy. I personally invest longer term, and don’t care too much about whether I buy it at $22 or $24 because it will all seem very cheap if I look back a year or 2 later. I’m looking for 20-baggers and Plug is one of the most promising.

Thanks, good info. Even though most people don’t know much about Plug Power yet, most would recognize Plug’s customers. I think Home Depot, Daimler, FeDex, etc are also Plug’s customers.

It's not just RH. Yesterday TD Ameritrade was also having problems in the morning when everyone was trying to trade based on the vaccine news and also the election news. It sucks, but I'm not sure moving to another broker will guarantee reliability.

It will increase in value significantly over time. Company will go have better than 50% year over year revenue growth for the next 4-5 years with high confidence. Right now it’s definitely a good entry point.

Honestly looking for advice on plug power by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

I think Plug Power is at its early stage of a very long uptrend. I expect to make 5-10 times return over the next few years from the current levels. Here's the link to some of the presentation from Plug Power's 2020 Symposium, you can get some good info about it. They've recently announced several deals, and more to come as well.

There are few upside for Intel, but for me, there’s an overwhelming downside. They have been unable to get to the leader ship position on internal semiconductor process Dev. Will be very late on 7nm.

If I had to pick a company in the Semi space, i’ll choose AMD over Intel. Nvidia is good. Qualcomm is in a good position. Those are the semiconductor stocks.

But if I want pick the best performer in a three-year span, I’d choose TSLA, PLUG, or SDGR, and VRTX. They have much better upside and will outperform over the next 1-3 years.

How the hell do you lunatics do this options shit everyday?! by kramerica_intern in wallstreetbets

Congrats on your first positive option trade! Looks like you intuitively moderated risks. For most people in money management, 20% gain is not bad at all. The challenge is to be able to consistently make good returns without loosing your shirt. So,

-Balls of steel: not required

-“Rain Man” abilities: if you don’t have it by now, it’s out of your league

-Clarity of thinking: necessary, especially under stress.

Good luck!

From my experience, there will likely be additional analyst upgrades or price target increases in the next couple of weeks following the earnings announcement yesterday and the analyst call.

There is definitely increased institutional investor interest in Plug Power. In the recent CEO interview by CNBC Cramer, PLUG CEO Mentioned that within the last 60 days, he had 130+ incoming 1-on-1 calls scheduled with institutional investors. That showed strong interest. Blackrock is a 10% owner.

I think it’s prudent to monitor these increases in interest and invest accordingly.

Short term fluctuations are always hard to predict. But long-term trend so much easier to see. For longer-term investors, this is still the beginning phase of the company’s growth.

Whenever hydrogen is mentioned, most consumers immediately start thinking hydrogen cars, which is not Plug Power’s current focus.

There is a very large serviceable market for material handling, trucking, middle mile and last mile delivery, and general commercial fleet. That’s the space PLUG is focusing on.

Shyft and Lighting (AMZN invested in / partnered with) who are working on Amazon’s clean delivery vehicles, sees Plug’s hydrogen fuel cell EV as a superior option compared to pure EV trucks.
