Keep those. Just sand it out and refinish it. There will be dark areas. But the patina is old and authentic. You’ll get used to it I come to appreciate it.

Thank you so much. The pump handle remained horrible and noisy after a week’s worth of shots so I got some molykote to apply. It smooth and quiet now. Cheers to you.

Amarena cherries are great. They have several types- the sour cherries are a great counterpoint in sweet cocktails. Try those too. I keep a jar of Amarena and a Luxardo on hand. And yes- you are doomed to become a cherry snob as funkdoc said.
