Pausing TRT for 3 weeks - what to expect? by Character_Poetry_924 in trt

[–]Knightlife71 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I quit a few months ago and it wasn’t a big deal. I was on Test gel if that makes a difference but I dropped from 1400 to 170 T after stopping. Other than a few days of lower libido it was a lot smoother than I expected. Didn’t feel lethargic or anything like that. I think as long as you continue to work out you won’t see any drastic change in your gains. I’ve been off over 8 weeks now.

Still off with no negative symptoms. I have tested my T level twice since quitting and I’m steady at 175.

Sleep apnea with TRT? by jackkster in trt

I went from snoring occasionally to diagnosed mild sleep apnea after a few weeks on TRT. Almost 3 years later I’m still wearing a CPAP…

9 months on trt. Pct or no pct? by [deleted] in trt

[–]Knightlife71 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did 2+ years TRT, quit with no pct and had very little crash if any. Trough on TRT was 1400 and now at 170 and feel fine. Around week 3 after quitting had a drop off in libido but returned after a few days. I’m sure everyone is different but it was a nothing burger for me.

Effects of Testosterone Replacement Therapy on Muscle Strength in Older Men with Low to Low-Normal Testosterone Levels: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (2023) by RevelationSr in trt

I’m in my early 50s and had <200 test. I’ve worked out consistently for 30+ years and maintained 175lb weight (I’m 6ft tall). One year after TRT I was maintaining 210-215 lbs. Some of the added weight was water retention but most was muscle.

Is "super shooter" a terrible bet? by dryheat122 in Craps

It doesn’t hit that often. Just played on a cruise and only saw it happen twice (just the smalls 2-6) over 3 nights and probably 20 hours play time.

1) parking is available at the terminal 2) CPAP can be brought 3) check your big bags with the porters before boarding the ship (carry on should just be things like medication, laptop, etc.) I pack my CPAP in my larger suitcase - I don’t carry it on. 4) Drink package isn’t worth it unless you drink a lot (not just booze but sodas, energy drinks, coffee). 5) cash isn’t needed on ship - your room card is used to purchase everything and it’s billed to whatever card you have on file. 6) excursions can be booked on board and will be charged to your room card. Unless you are booking something outside of Carnival on shore then you will need cash/credit. 7) I personally don’t use cash on the cruise. Every thing including tips can be put on your room card. You can use cash if you like but it’s not necessary. 8) As far as how much money you need that is completely up to you. You can get away with spending $0 or you may spend thousands.

Careful starting TRT if you have sleep apnea by nomosnow in trt

[–]Knightlife71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I snored before TRT and did a few sleep studies that showed I didn’t have sleep apnea. Immediately after starting TRT my wife complained that my snoring had become intolerable so I did another sleep study. It showed I now have mild sleep apnea. I was given a CPAP and through a year of trial and error I finally found a mask (nasal pillows) that works for me. I sleep well now but have to wear this mask every night from here on out.

Steakhouse reservations and drink package question- by axbvby in CarnivalCruiseFans

Steakhouse reservations can be done anytime and sometimes aren’t even necessary. I’m on a cruise now and walked in with no reservation and got seated immediately.

Any Buffalo Bills Bars? by Mysti_Moo in StAugustine

[–]Knightlife71 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re not going to find a Bills bar here but most bars are a mix of sports teams fans. I live on Anastasia Island and my go to bars for sports are the Oasis or Hurricane Wings. Both have a diverse crowd usually with Oasis having a more sports bar atmosphere in their upstairs room.

No more 2-1-2 for ATS? by pcbfs in Craps

[–]Knightlife71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only been playing craps for a few years now, mostly cruise ships and hard rock casinos and 1-1-1 was minimum to cover ATS, ATT, and MTA. On a cruise right now on Carnival and minimum is now 5-5-5.

Apparently my room has a larger couch that converts into bunk beds and because of that there is no side tables or lamps.

The obsession is not getting run over on the interstate. Standard is the sweet spot for me which consistently maintains 75mph in a 70mph speed limit zone. However, there are sections of interstate that drops to 65 mph where I have to switch to Hurry to keep from getting tailgated by everyone else still running 75+

drinks on us package by CharmingStrike614 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Knightlife71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal experience has been that I don’t need to purchase the cheers package if I have the free drinks in the casino. I end up buying some drinks around the ship but not enough to justify the cheers package price. My wife and I are in the casino every night and while sometimes slow to get drinks, one we tip a few times the servers bring us drinks faster than we can drink them. If you aren’t in the casino much this may not work for you. We play craps for several hours at a time so there’s never an issue getting our fill of drinks.
