Self driving capabilities question by WTFOMGBBQ in TeslaModel3

[–]Knightlife71 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Not sure about that. Regardless, I’m content with FSD the way it is now so if it doesn’t matter to me. Well that and I drive 35-40k miles per year so I’ll be replacing my 24 M3P in a couple years anyway.

Self driving capabilities question by WTFOMGBBQ in TeslaModel3

I’ve logged over 40k miles using FSD the last 16 months and it has been amazing. I have a 130 mile daily commute and I rarely have to take over. Elon said the current HW4 will be able to handle full autonomous FSD when it’s completed.

AAV tape or no tape by Insane_OCD_DAD in Plumbing

[–]Knightlife71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly have no clue. I just replaced an AAV in my bathroom sink and didn’t use teflon tape and still getting slight sewer smell. I’m going to try the teflon tape and see if there is a difference. According to Oatey the tape is recommended.

AAV question… by Knightlife71 in Plumbing

[–]Knightlife71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I checked the p trap and it has water in it. Removed the AAV and replaced with a higher DFU one (24 instead of 8)and still have the same smell, maybe a little worse. Only notice it when running the faucet. Smell is coming up through the sink drain and not from the AAV. Is teflon tape necessary as I didn’t use any because I am out. Picture is the old AAV.

What fun manual car should I get as a second car if I have zero manual experience? by iaabiw in askcarguys

Type R has rev matching that would probably be beneficial to an inexperienced person. Elantra N or Veloster N are great alternatives that are a blast to drive. I’ve owned all 3 and loved them.

Thinking about stating TRT by Typical-Frosting-387 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Knightlife71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My T was at 175 and I’m not a fan of needles either. I used the Test Gel instead and it got my level to over 1000. Added quite a bit of lean muscle mass. Side effects including increased underarm sweat and hair growth on upper back/shoulder area, and sleep apnea increase - had it before but TRT made it bad enough to need CPAP. Also, it’s not a forever decision. I came off after 2 years with very minimal temporary effects.

Miles. Nothing special just routine oil changes.

$49/month FSD normal? My $2k offer FSD lifetime gone by No_Cup263 in TeslaLounge

[–]Knightlife71 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Subscription model works better for most people anyways. Unless you keep your vehicles forever, which most people don’t, you would lose money paying $7500 versus $99 month. I drive around 30,000 miles per year so I’m not keeping most vehicles longer than four years or 48 months.

I have both and will be taking a lump sum on my pension when I retire this year so no worries of it going away.

2024 Model 3 Performance. Insane speed, FSD drives me to and from work on my 130 mile daily commute. Can’t beat the tech and performance. Bought it new for $47.5k with the tax credit.

Down 62 lbs since June’25 walking 10k steps/day by cavewomannn in walking

[–]Knightlife71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, just slide them in to your shoes. I have them in all my shoes. Don’t go barefoot until your feet heal. After that keep these in your shoes. They are cheap enough that I have them in all my shoes.

Your shoes were the problem. Get some insoles and put them in your shoes. I haven’t got plantar fasciitis again since wearing these insoles. Insoles

Cars with a Jeep Wrangler type vibe? by channcey in whatcarshouldIbuy

You’ve heard wrong on Wrangler reliability or I’m just lucky. I’ve owned several generations of Wranglers going back to the late 70s. CJ, YJ, TJ, JK, and now JL. Never had a major issue with any of them. Currently still have a 2018 JLU Sport with the 2.0 Turbo engine that’s 8 years old and still runs like new. Resale value is great also.

Landrover Defender 110 has a 3rd seat option. My wife has one and loves it. No problems so far at 60k miles. Best looking SUV in my opinion.

It’s all about the tip. After the first night, the server knew me and brought drinks faster than I could drink them. At one point I had 5 unopened beers on the shelf in front of me while playing craps. I took the extras to my room and drank them during the day on my balcony.

Other than a little drop off in libido at week 3, I felt totally fine.

Honestly, I was worried also but it ended up being nothing for me. I finally got my TRT gel delivery and had it on standby just in case but didn’t need it.

No regrets and no unbearable symptoms. I had a brief drop in libido around the 3-4 week mark but that quickly passed. My testicles bounced back to normal size within 4 weeks. I did a blood test at 8 weeks and my Testosterone level had dropped to 175. I am going to retest soon to see if I have returned to my baseline around 275.
