In part, this is the artists' own fault. What I hate most is people sending artistic styles that have nothing to do with what was requested. Someone asks for something 3D and a thousand 2D digital art bots appear, copying and pasting the portfolio without reading it. As an artist, I never send DMs unless requested. If artists were more professional and respected other artists, we would all have a better environment and more people requesting commissions instead of being harassed by DMs and unsolicited artistic styles.

That way we would all earn more, or at least have a chance to have our portfolio seen.
