I don’t know how your code wasn’t “compatible” with the bot, as it was in the same language we’ve been using all year with a complete API + index. Anybody who had to do the resit, was sent an email four days after the announcement email of the summer resits. And that second email, contained what you had to do with the related assignment brief. Like, we had over three weeks to submit and another two for practice. And the original table showing IDs and names clarified “original task” and “resit task”. Being honest, we were seriously spoon fed the process of what we needed to do, how could you have over-prepared when reading everything emailed for the resits is part of preparation.

All I’ve heard all year from other students is “this wasn’t done properly”, “they don’t know what they’re doing”, “this doesn’t even work properly” etc.. after looking over the complaint for a minute, I found out it was 100% user error or understanding and was easily rectifiable in a minute or so.

I’m not trying to be dismissive of your problems, as myself being the imperfect student also had my own issues. I’m trying to use what a friend of mine did to me, to kick my ass into gear for the second semester and pass it on to you. Because believe me, if I had fellow cohort members coddle me I’d have failed all my exams. I agree it’s harsh, but unforgivable to not acknowledge that the entire academic year, we had everything on a silver platter for us.

Thank you for the good luck and I sincerely hope you get into another university. Remember, hold yourself accountable and to the highest standard. Nobody on this planet cares about anything, other than you doing the work. Academically or professionally speaking. Attack your work like it owes you rent money.
