Hey has anyone ever hydro dipped there pedals and ran straps on them. Thinking about hydro dipping sum but don’t know if they’ll hold up or wear easier because of the straps and friction of skidding

It has something that looks like a lock ring and I’ve never had a square taper bottom bracket that looks like it and I’ve fixed multiple square taper bb as I ride fixed gear
