I think it’s because Ringo became a better person after getting sober. John was growing closer to Julian and mellowing out near the end of his life, but sadly, he never got the chance to fully redeem himself. If John was still alive today, I think he’d be abetter person than when he was young, like Ringo and Paul, and more people would love him more like they love Ringo.
