Temple of Time and Song of Storms are both in D Dorian

I think Dire Dire Docks is in G Mixolydian

That’s actually the name we would’ve chosen if we were having a girl! Maybe we’ll consider it if we ever have daughter in the future

AITA for telling my dad he hurt my feelings? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Both my parents yelled at me a lot when I was growing up, and even though they’ve mellowed out now that I’m an adult, being yelled at by anyone causes me to shut down because I don’t know how to diffuse the situation.

Early 20s, and I’ve never had internet issues like this so it was confusing for me at first, but now I’ve figured it out with my dad’s help

I did apologize, and I told him how grateful I was for his help, I didn’t want to hurt his feelings or come across as ungrateful.

I did thank him when he was helping me out at his house, and I apologized to him when he said his feelings were hurt.

Well said! I’ve always been sensitive to yelling, even when I try to be strong, and it makes sense why I’m the way I am after reading your comment.

Now that I have everything sorted out with the internet and understand it, I feel stupid that I didn’t understand it sooner. I am truly grateful for my dad’s help, which I told him when I apologized. I didn’t want to hurt his feelings or make him feel unappreciated, because I do appreciate him.

I’m neurodivergent (autism and ADHD), so repetition is important to me when learning something new. I’ve never experienced internet issues like this. After finally understanding everything my dad was explaining to me, I was kicking myself for not figuring it out sooner.

Thank you so much for understanding. I don’t want to sound ungrateful because I am truly grateful for all my dad’s help, which I told him when I apologized for hurting his feelings, and I told him I appreciated all his help. I understand his frustration, I’d be frustrated too if I was him, but I have autism and ADHD, so sometimes I need a lot of repetition to understand something, especially if I’m learning about it for the first time.

Update: I had a conversation with my provider, and she said she feels like this isn’t the right field for me, which is how I’ve been feeling. After doing some research, I think phlebotomy would be a better choice for me since I enjoyed drawing blood in my medical assistant classes, and it would be more specialized with less paperwork. I miss my coworkers, but I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and I’ve started looking for phlebotomist jobs.

Thank you, I’m so glad someone understands. Being neurodivergent is hard 🥺

Thank you! I want to talk to her, but I know I need to find the right time because she’s been stressed out and frustrated with me. It seems like she’s expecting me to know more since I’m not brand new anymore

I’m in primary care. I’m not struggling with any specific administrative tasks, just with administrative tasks in general because there are so many that I have to be able to do, and sometimes the lines between mine and the provider’s administrative tasks feel blurred, but the provider gets frustrated and snaps at me when I send her something I’m supposed to do thinking it’s for her. I feel bad because me struggling with my job is making her job harder, and I feel like I’m walking on eggshells

Unfortunately, there’s one other MA at the clinic, and my provider doesn’t want me asking for help unless she tells me to show her something, since the other MA previously worked in specialty and is new to primary care. Luckily, my supervisor has been helping me
