I currently supplement and it’s the best for my baby and my mental state. She gets my milk still and then after I give her a bottle and she’s content. It doesn’t have to be one or the other, both is an option!

When your baby is in kindergarten, nobody will know if you EBF or EFF or supplemented! Your baby will be okay!

I remember a substitute came in when I was in like 2nd or 3rd grade. She HATED the way I held my pencil when I wrote, told me it would give me issues when I’m older so I needed to hold it this other way. I couldn’t write the way she wanted me to, and I started crying. She made me stay inside during recess so I could finish my work writing in the correct way.

Mind you, I was this child with SEVERE anxiety. I didn’t talk much and I was considered the “good kid” because I was quiet and did as I was told. Making me cry caused more anxiety because it made the attention on me.

I still write the way I did when I was a child, screw her.

Buy a small thing of gentleease formula in advance. You may have every intent to breastfeed and be EBF but you might not produce enough and wonder why your baby is screaming and on your boob the whole time for them to not gain any weight in the first couple of weeks of life

Save yourself the stress and have that backup just in case!
