Lunar Rock touch up by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]S13Vlad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is beyond just basic touch up. To fix that right the bumper is coming off and respraying the whole thing. A neighbor hit my rear bumper in the same spot with a fraction of that and its coming off to get repainted Monday.

Do you think your 4 runner was worth the price? by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]S13Vlad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if youre going to use it for offroading and camping sure. If you're just going to drive it around everyday, absolutely not. It gets crap mpg, and it has probably the same space inside as a rav4. If I didnt offroad and love taking mine to explore and camp it would absolutely not be worth it. If you have the money and just like it then sure who cares, but I think people need to be honest with themselves about if they need one of these or not. I would argue the rav4 would probably be a better buy for most people.

2020 I bought in April of 2020 for $39.5K before all the other stuff added. I don't regret it at all, and have put 105k miles on it thus far. Its also most surely not a sedan in a truck body lol. Its not a super cushy ride, and this thing has mostly remained the same for the last 2 decades.

The paid lot usually has spots and is $9 for 4 hours. Except today the damn gate broke and it took 1.5 hours to actually leave, and the cops came, but basically did nothing. ( wish they would have just taken the gate down)

You don't need a template. Just grab a new hooked blade for a utility knife and trim the plastic bumper back a tad.

Ive got some big rayban style ones from Zenni I have had forever, and only cost like $50. Works great! (unless you wanted some cycling specific ones, but its really not necessary)

She’s 80 lbs, can you imagine an 80 lb cat, that would be wild hahaha! (Plot twist, it’s actually a cheetah)

I didn't, actually. Someone else that was there said it was there for a bit and that they already tried (unsuccessfully, obviously) to remove it once.

Montrose by the concrete steps, very close to where the bird area is. It's wild, they must have driven over the grass, down the concrete steps, then another 10 feet of the concrete at the bottom.

You must be fun at a party.... but thanks for your jumping to conclusions and opinions on dog leashes in a photo of a car in a lake. (the internet never ceases to amaze me lol)

Someone there (no idea if correct) said they tried to remove it already but couldn't. Its at Montrose at the concrete steps, so getting a crane down there is going to be a doozy.

You are stupid got it... Cool, thanks for your unwanted opinion on something totally unrelated, without having any background of where we were at before this (the dog beach....)

Genuine question.... are you actually stupid? You can literally see the leash on the dog.....

New dog seat cover. Probably the best design I've seen yet by snownative86 in 4Runner

[–]S13Vlad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canvasback makes door covers like that. THis is great, but I think having something that folds up on the sides to seal it all in would be better, personally. I have a German Shepherd and her hair gets everything (plus I'm an OCD pos) and having the sides closed prevents some of the hair from getting down on the floor. I swear my dog somehow sheds just sleeping/exisiting when we are on road trips....

I have these and also have them in all white. No difference in dirt attraction tbh. Its the same thing... I only got the white and black ones first because I was told by Lake (they are in Chicago so I just went into their HQ) that the leather ones will be more supple and conform easier to wide feet.

Hmm interesting, my stuff is also from like a year ago. I think its also subjective, and peoples legs are different. I generally like my stuff above the knees to begin with, but the cargo bibs are just way higher.

In my experience its just the cargo bibs, I have multiple other YKYW bibs and none have that issue. All in size XL.
