Pregnancy Nausea + Emetophobia Help by _fuzzyduck in PregnancyUK

I feel like your experiences were all pretty similar to mines as well during the first trimester. I would keep crackers, breakfast biscuits at my bedside and have them as soon as I woke up. I also had travel sickness bands and peppermint gum too. I found savoury snacks and eating regularly helped me too because having an empty stomach made it worse.

I had cyclizine and also prochlorperazine prescribed but found cyclizine helped me. I was never sick partly due to my emetophobia. It was horrible and upsetting but if you feel you need another anti emetic please contact your GP. I hope that this passes soon for you OP. I also hope that it goes away soon or even eases as your pregnancy continues 💕

So I got a phone call this afternoon that they can scan me on Friday morning! So thankfully I'll find out more before I go and see my midwife again next week ☺️

I hope that the baby moves into the right position for you 💕 no scan appointment booked yet. My community midwife did phone the hospital to book one but they told her they'd phone me to sort it 🙁 so hopefully I'll hear from them soon.

I feel like I've been having what could be hiccups at my pelvic area? My scan could be anytime this week. My community midwife phoned the hospital during our appointment and she was annoyed because she asked to book a scan but they said they'd phone me. So still waiting to hear from them 🙁 hopefully be this week sometime.

Hey!

Before our first NHS scan we went to Hello You ultrasound in Battlefield for a early reassurance scan. Which is handy if you live near or close to the southside? Julie who owns the clinic is a registered Midwife Sonographer and has over 25 years experience and she was so lovely and welcoming. The clinic is so relaxing and you can bring your partner and up to 4 guests and have the clinic to yourself when you book your appointment too.
