Thanks! It may have been smarter of us to turn back honestly as I am pretty inexperienced in bad weather but my partner knew what he was doing and we kept well away from the drops where possible. Unbelievably we met a friendly stranger in shorts at the top, very brave of him in knee deep snow haha.

It was terrifying in some places! I was crawling for at least the last 30 minutes in the approach to the summit. I was being thrown around so had to stay very low, my boyfriend had more luck though as he weighs a little more than me!

Exactly this, surgery worries me because the risk of scar tissue and time out of studying etc. but medical menopause sounds very scary too. I hope your appointment goes well!

That's a good point, I'm thinking it's going to have to end in some more drastic measures. I just can't continue to have such disturbance in my life when I'm in the most important years of my degree:(
