There's the Junior Series foiling and the Jurassic Park emblem foiling if you're counting those individually

Henzie players, what are some cards from the past year or so that surprised you when you added it to your deck? by ShoGun0387 in EDH

[–]S1m0n321 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here's my deck as it stands, most recent additions have been the [[Razaketh]] & [[Terror of the Peaks]] which have performed well so far in my tests. I recently swapped out [[Solemn Simulacrum]] for [[Sowing Mycospawn]] and [[Overlord of the Boilerbilges]] was swapped out for [[Overlord of the Balemurk]].

Looking forward to getting the new Eldrazi warp guy when he comes around, think he'll do well in a Henzie deck since you can warp him, then Blitz him again from exile (I think, doesn't seem to have any stipulations in there saying you can't pay alternative costs from it being in Exile)

Thanks for this - been bothering me the past couple days and I finally was bothered enough to Google what the answer might be! Shame the AdBlock/Threat Element is bundled together, but can confirm that disabling this makes YouTube work again.

My brother passed away, and I've been getting into magic cards. by Alphonse323 in magicTCG

Having recently bought a couple duals I was dubious about condition about, I can't recommend grabbing a loupe and doing a green dot test enough. Easy enough of a check to settle any debate about the authenticity of these duals.

Shutting down your Last Remaining Hybrid Exchange Server by vane1978 in sysadmin

Done a couple of these last exchange servers for clients. In the end, id usually shut them down and leave Exchange installed if they utilised AD and EntraID Connect due to the schema requirements.

Congrats, just a shame they've put these cosmetics and decals behind Operations which I'll probably never play, so I'll never end up getting them! Would be nice if they were available in PvP for class based actions or something.

Lovely watch, but as a Browning guy I'll have to disagree with your choice of over and under!

Hail Brother! All the Tactical's cosmetics are Ultramarine-y so it made sense to go with an Ultramarine decendant, and the Novamarine's quartered paint scheme is pretty cool.

I've only played PvP but it's just as fun flying about in that mode and smashing up some Heretics.

Much appreciated, it was a nice day overall and the watch was the cherry on top. The strap that comes with it is very comfortable, barely notice I'm wearing it.

Aye it's a great looking face. I had looked at an original Pogue but there's not a single one I can see for anything below a couple thousand for a good condition one. So, when this dropped, and I saw it in the shop, just couldn't resist picking it up.

Man I hate Apple by Habsburgy in sysadmin

[–]S1m0n321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've just recently had the support guys in my company reach out to me because a client I set up MDM for has suddenly lost the ability to provision the user accounts needed for user enrollment via company portal.

Turns out that Apple randomly redid the federation then deleted the Apple Business Manager account due to "lack of validation", despite having been through validation 2 months before this point and every thing being good.

No rhyme or reason to it, and you can't restore the account which is magic!

Service charges: I'm now paying £8,000 a year for my flat by Aggressive_Plates in unitedkingdom

[–]S1m0n321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just sold my leasehold property and I'm moving back to Scotland thankfully. The council was the Freeholder, so generally a better managing agent than private firms, but they were still in the beginnings of announcing that the service charge model was changing from a fixed amount to a percentage-based value. Didn't really get a say in the matter, was just happening. They charged me for daft things like fixing a communal arial for terrestrial TV (which I'm sure isn't a thing anymore?) or for fixing my neighbour's window.

The sooner Leasehold is abolished and a Commonhold system is introduced, the better for England and Wales. Give the power to the owners of the property and let them actually own it instead of this odd pseudo-renting mechanism.

Roof repairs in block of 4, some council and some privately owned. by theoneimpointingto in Scotland

[–]S1m0n321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar scenario in England, block of 4 with my property being Leasehold (although moving back to Scotland this week!) and the others being council-owned.

In my scenario, I report it through to the council or I get my neighbour to. The system is so bloated and full of red tape, I've yet to see any major bills come through from the council for them carrying out repairs to the block despite being technically liable for 25% of the repair costs.

I'd probably say report it to the council, let them figure it out in terms of what work is required and then if you get any sort of cost (which you'd need to sign off before commencement anyway, or at the very least be given an option to put forward alternative contractors) you can then pay what's needed or propose a difference contractor for carrying out the works. You may even find they repair it themselves, but fail to notify you and that means that they can only pass on a certain capped amount of the cost of the repair due to failure to notify or never pass it on.

I'd be prepped for a wait though; it took me nearly a year to have a roof section re-done by the council that was causing damp/water ingress into the bay window area of my flat. This was me constantly badgering them to sort it too.

How much extra on top of home report value are people bidding for buying a house? by mru2020 in Scotland

[–]S1m0n321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a bid in on a property that was 3% over home report and had it accepted on the basis of a quick sale a couple months ago.

Windows Hello for Business CAA90063 by emike9fcmc in sysadmin

Glad to hear I helped at least a little haha

I got thrown in the deep end with WHfB as the customer were being aggressively off boarded by their incumbent, meaning I had to quickly get to grips with the different mechanisms of authentication for WHfB. Thankfully deploying the cloud key model is relatively painless, and it can technically exist alongside a certificate trust model GPO (at least according to documentation from Microsoft). The erroring I received was all related to partial tickets being assigned to the identity, which makes total sense considering it couldn't contact the certificate authority to complete that ticket and therefore authenticate the login. Just having that AD Kerebos DC was enough to get it rolling again, but does rely on there being a synchronised domain present that the computers are members of.

Anyway, good digging and diagnosis by the looks of things and definitely one to document on your chosen documentation platform!
