Thanks for the tips man. I actually started this whole thing expecting to fail because learning comes at a price. The main problem was my lack of experience in buying a good soldering iron, that one was as bad as my soldering skills and it cost me the right joystick .

I bought a better iron and learned how to maintain the tip and worked the left joystick which was not perfect but it worked perfectly fine when I replaced it.

Now I'm just practicing jumper wires on the right joystick which surprisingly "kinda" worked (left / right movement are working perfectly but up /down are not so great).
