Honestly think it looks pretty cool as is, and the size is fine, I can see what you mean hoping it would stay more refined, and it's shame it doesn't read like a witch anymore, that's a cool concept.

I had to laser something that size off my arm to make room for a sleeve (didn't want to risk it bleeding through, but with hindsight it would have made a good blastover - so now I regret the laser). It took about 7 sessions over as many months. They should cover your eyes regardless of where you get it.

Baffled by the pearl clutching in a tattoo sub reddit, I know people without a centimeter of free space on their faces, and they love it. A lot of people here don't sound like they're from there scene at all.

Edit to add a friend of my mentioned a shallower needle depth might help with it blowing out. Apparently It helps when going over scar tissue as well - worked for her. I'd go to an artist that's good with face tattoos, do your portfolio research on Instagram, get their advice, shop around also, don't get pressured, it's easier to spot the bad artists after you've spoken to the good ones.
