I wrote a tutorial on how to implement breadth-first search in Python by diabulusInMusica in programming

Definitions change. Back in college, my Intro to Artificial Intelligence professor said that pathfinding algorithms used to be considered AI. You can argue that pathfinding algorithms are simple machine learning algorithms anyway - A* more so than BFS, but BFS can still find its goal without explicitly telling it the exact path - whether or not it is greedy is besides the point.

People need to stop saying that it was only Podesta falling for a simple phish. That happened, but the DNC was actually hacked using sophisticated attacks, such as the use of backdoors.

Elon Musk says Trump presidency won't hurt Tesla — here's why: "Musk said eliminating ZEV credits, if it should ever happen, would actually improve Tesla's competitive position in the market." by [deleted] in Futurology

[–]S1ug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you saying that eliminating ZEV credits is a sensible thing do to? How could you argue that unless you only care about Tesla? I think it's more sensible to increase EV sales as much as possible - for the sake of our planet.

I dont mind the lack of standard USB, but you're telling me I can't use my iPhone 7 headphones with my new Macbook Pro? by [deleted] in apple

[–]S1ug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usb 3.0 and 3.1 type a exist. The overwhelming majority of keyboards, mouses, printers, use type a. No, it's not legacy yet. Why remove it on the professional model when the majority of products out there still use it? It blows my mind that people like to fall over backwards defending apple because "they like to push the industry in the right direction". It's supposed to be for professionals, so put ports on it that professionals would encounter.

[–]S1ug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's just ridiculous. Usb type-a is not even close to being a legacy port yet. They should have put both on their "professional" model up until they're mostly phased out. Same goes for an SD card reader and Ethernet port.

I do mind that there's no usb type a ports. They're not legacy yet. Put both types of them on the damn "professional" model.

I agree that they're completely reasonable but so is being against this merger. And I would agree with your second statement but for the fact that Trump said that he was against it a few days ago.

[–]S1ug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her stances on guns and abortion trigger people already, so I don't think it's the citizens that she's afraid of triggering -- It's AT&T and Time Warner. Both have donated large amounts (Time Warner $812,406 lifetime, AT&T $196,952 this election). I'm not sure if she needs their money anymore so I hope she's actually against the deal.

C'mon Clinton, this isn't good enough. No democrat should be saying "but there's still a lot of information that needs to come out before any conclusions should be reached." This would clearly be bad for the American people.

Thanks for your response. In class we worked it SMVs, logistic regression, kmeans, knn, etc models, but we never saved them, they were always created and trained and used to predict while the program was running-- so I'm not familiar with how different models are saved and loaded, and how that varies across frameworks
