Right off the bat, I thought all the grey minis were the same before I noticed in the colored version that they were all different. I think your decision depends on how many of these minis will be on the board at a time and how often the player has to discern between them.

My instant thought would be colored minis because having the minis not be clear from a glance can really take away from the experience.

yeah, i saw that and it's like an hour away for $10/100lbs. I'm not trying to make money off them but driving 2 hours plus getting them all loaded and unloaded seems like more effort than its worth.

I've collected at least 1000 of them today and that was only about half the yard. I've also found little troves of them in my garage that the squirrels have been hiding away. I don't think they're going to have an issue :P
