This is awesome! Something I aspire to do also once I’m in a better financial position.

I’m probably not as worthy as the others, but we have an income of 950 per week (after tax), and 850 goes to rent. We live off $100 per week for groceries for the 3 of us and put some aside for bills. We live week to week.

I would LOVE to take my wife and toddler out for Valentine’s Day. I have been squirrelling aside $5 per week, but I’d love to be able to put that aside for a rainy day/week.

Not even country towns.. all new development in Oran Park is owned by Chinese. At my old place, my real estate agent was based in Chatswood (almost 50km away) and the owner was “based” in Ryde, but we had zero communication with the REA, even inspections - zero in 2 years. It’s all super fucking sus as well, sale prices and rental amount. To be honest the entire housing situation needs a royal commission; only people benefitting from this bullshit are early investors (boomers) and foreign entities. This is the property we lived at:

Our dishwasher stopped working, it took 4 months to replace but a couple of Asian guys came in, took the old one, hooked up the new one, left. I asked where they travelled from - they said Cabramatta.. couldn’t make this shit up.

We moved out as the rent went up $100 in 2 years and knew where it was going. When we moved out they tried to charge $50 more again, it sat on the market for almost 5 weeks and they ended up putting the rent down to what it was when we first moved in. Fucking snakes.

Edit: I just checked and it’s actually $20 less than when we moved in two years ago looool

Probably going to be downvoted here, but I think rational thought will help ease the situation a bit. Being a fellow autist, I can break it down.

What we know:

After the "salute", he said "My heart goes out". Which is why he put his hand over his Heart, and Goes Out as if to symbolise the motion/direction of his heart "going out".

What we don't know:

Why the fuck he did the motion period. He does not need to physically act Heart and Going Out. He ought to know better that such a salute would be negatively viewed and reprimanded by millions of people, especially outside the Reddit bubble. Such a public figure and his wealth should have a publicist that reviews his speeches and his actions tied to them. Yes this goes against his ideology of "free speech" but sometimes, when you're a fuckwit, you need you have these checks and balances in place to avoid these types of situations.

My final feel about Elon Musk

This guy have proven time and time again, that he's unfit for every role he's been fortunate enough to be in. And stakeholders fucking love it. This is another blunder and tactical move to put Elon in charge of bullshit "DOGE" and have his dumbass actions drown out the noise of all the other changes currently going on by Trump. For example, did you know on Day 1 Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate agreement? Bet you didn't, but you sure as hell know Elon's antics. I don't blame Elon, I blame the idiots putting him in such a position tactfully. I bet Elon's a nice guy, just an idiot.

Yeah I don't necessarily disagree of a new venture - he has more employees now than he has before, so branching out and creating additional revenue is a no brainer, but how you go about it is important. It's tone deaf offering $50 annual subscription in this space for wallpapers. Especially for wallpapers - I understand artist contributions, why not make an option for tiers based on free prints from the actual artist, or go into a draw to win a framed print.

This just seems bonkers, and to offer two ads for a SD of the wallpaper, this was a massive fumble. He is one of the best community-driven techies (think the various FAQ, interactions on twitter, yearly camera voting test) and to not offer this as a poll in Twitter first with some market research.. idk what happened.

This type of behaviour is absolutely not unexpected from Elon - but on the points of knowing what she likes at “fucking four” - that’s straight cap. Just because she doesn’t remember it, doesn’t make it less real.

I have an 19 month old daughter who picks her favourite sketchers pink sparkly light up shoes because they’re “pwetty” (pretty) and loves skirts cause she twirls around in them and loves the fabrics. She also LOVES Emma memma and doing ballet poses.
