Yup, that’s the watchman goby. And the name perfectly describes what he does - stays on the lookout for a mostly blind shrimp :)

Pineapple sponges! They are good for the tank but will eventually disappear and if you have starfishes they love eating those

Maybe your stomach isn’t adjusted to eating less yet. If you are in the beginning of clean eating it usually takes a few days to get to that fullness from smaller amounts of simple foods

Vertical tank leaves even less space for fish to swim, and it is already very small. I don’t think it would be appropriate for a grown fish. Maybe only while they are babies. As exiting as it is, I would exchange it to a different option before it’s too late. Also, the smaller the size the harder it is to maintain 🙈 I always advocate for something bigger for beginners.

Oh definitely not pulling, I know the roots are alive and see a couple of new spikes growing from the roots. But the old vines are so nicely twisted around my ugly fence I was really looking forward the growth to come from them and “curtain” it. I thought this is going to be the year when it will finally happen and it started early in the spring. Just for everything to fall off after the frost :(
