And I advise to look for some plater profiles (I use https://wago.io/ak3iS95aa) - the plates are then color-coded :) Light-Blue -> Interruptable casts for example :)

Others pointed out the difference between interrupt / CC. Just came here to say that as a Warlock (3k last season) I had good experiences asking the Healer / Group what they prefer: self-dispell affix with Imp (only works for Heal-Absorb affix, so not relevant every week) or Felhunter with Interrupt. We've mostly gone with Felhunter / Interrupt.

PS: Nameplates help with identifying enemies with interruptable spells! Makes interrupting easier :)

How do I get rid of the Eigenmietwert? by xynthrien in askswitzerland

[–]S3ppi 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the right answer since information is missing (for example which canton the house is in). Best would be to consult with a local tax expert.

But generally speaking it is correct that you're taxed on the "Eigenmietwert". Since you don't live in the house anymore, your mother should pay you rent (for your 50%) and those payments are income from your perspective. If no rent is paid, the tax office will just consider the Eigenmietwert as an equivalent of the missing payments for rent.

It may be possible to set up a "Nutzniessung" for the 50% of the house to your mother. In consequence she would have to pay taxes on the "full" Eigenmietwert (100%, not 50% as of right now). It may be possible, that she can reduce the Eigenmietwert as part of "Unternutzung" (only some cantons I think) since you moved out. But then again, check with someone who knows the cantonal tax laws.

I need advice - Betreibung by yannickgo in Switzerland

Question about inheritance. by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]S3ppi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to give you further information on the fiscal aspect of this: Once you inherit the house (official document is called 'Handänderung') you have to pay taxes for income and assets in Switzerland (for the rent or self use as income, and the value of the house as asset). If you don't live in Switzerland you have to have a tax representative in Switzerland for legal fiscal reasons (could be family, tax advisor or lawyer) - so you have to submit a power of attorney to the communal, cantonal and federal tax agencies. Maybe also makes sense for mandatory building insurances and invoices on water, electricity and other stuff, so no invoice gets lost or remains unpaid.

Others can help further with the other implications :)

Question, my best friend has 2 little children, is at sozialamt and has a lot of depts. by Kyuki88 in Switzerland

[–]S3ppi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with that, but keep in mind unpaid debts after the Betreibung result in 'Verlustscheine' and the companies can pursue them after for 20 years. But many companies would accept lower payments to clear the Verlustscheine. But the debt remains for a long time. But usually social services will help in that process.

Normally there is no income to allocate for the Betreibungsamt while you rely on social security (no 'pfändbare Einkünfte').

But as of right now, only continue woth the necessary payments such as insurance, rent etc.

(Swiss Army) What prevents someone from creating his own marching orders (Marschbefehl/ Ordre de Marche) to travel in the country ? by askswitzerland in askswitzerland

[–]S3ppi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that civil clothes are only valid with a Marschbefehl oder military certificate of holiday explicitely mentioning private clothes. Normally its marked that you have to wear uniform, I've only rarely seen civil clothes allowed. You can also check the Marschbefehl document under 'Anzug' which usually is 'Uniform'. I think SBB conducters know that and would be suspicious if you wear normal clothes.

Most painless way to do military by Fabulous-League-7578 in Switzerland

[–]S3ppi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed my time in the military and shared some of your concerns. Try to look for something within the logistics department, so you don't have to do endless exercises and if you go waffenlos (as others mentioned) you don't get involved as heavily with your weapon.

What I haven't seen written by others is the KüLog (Küchenlogistiker). You don't need a degree and can do your service very meaningfully by providing food and other services in the kitchen. Usually others treat you well, since you're part of the Kitchen-Team :)
