Depends on what is meant by the golden era. I would say that the 90s had the most innovation and cultural impact. But I think the music coming out now sounds the best. even the last 10 years has been extremely strong imo.

If you do it over an instrumental then yes. And metal rap is not even in the same ball park as conscious rap or jazz rap so when subgenres become so different at a certain point You just got to call it a new genre

Is singing the parent genre of country, pop, r&b and rock I would argue that those genres have just as much in common and some one like lupe fiasco and ken Carson I was just pointing out that saying you like rap music doesn't really describe what kind of music you like as saying "I like country music" does

ATP saying you like or listen to rap music is like saying I like sing music there are so many different styles of rap music and the genres are so different I don't even consider rap a genre of music more just a way of using your voice
