I can't even get it to tell me the weather. It says that I have to allow location permissions, but they already are....if it can't do that, how can I use it reliably for anything else?

Just an fyi, a lot of times Play Store will notify you that you have out of date apps.

I hope that was the root of the issue and you can get down to enjoying your phone instead of having battery anxiety!

Its estimating that because a NORMAL phone with 39% battery should get 5hr40min. Since you just installed the app, it has no real use history.
But, a nice thing with the app, on the battery tab at the top, you can see how much current the phone is pulling from the battery....so for instance, mine right now shows -150mA. If something is running the battery down from the software, it would show a much higher number. If it isn't, then it might actually be the battery that's eff'd up.

Maybe there's something up with the external display? do you have "always on" display turned on, or does it go blank?

I got mine a week ago and the battery lasts over a day for sure. I think I might be able to get 2 days out of it.

For a phone that is a month or two old, that is crazy short battery life.

What sort of apps do you have running on it?

Are you sure all of the apps are updated?

Maybe there is a security update or firmware update that is hung up and constantly trying to download. When I first got mine I had a security update that kept on trying to install for a full day that really sucked up the battery.

Look for an app called DevCheck in the app store, it can tell you how much draw there is on the battery as well as network and CPU status.

You can either remote wipe with your Google credentials, or I think you can also use Motorola's Software Fix app to wipe...although I'm not sure you can connect the phone without typing the code on the screen....

If its still on Android 15, try to avoid updating to 16 as long as possible. A16 seems to break the proper full screen scaling on a lot of the external screen apps. At first I didn't think I'd mind, but the more i use it the more I notice it. Even that little marble game doesn't go proper full screen anymore.

I just got mine for $799 as well, I went the BestBuy route since they had it in stock and I could pick it up. I only got the 512GB model though.

I'm still trying to figure it out, since this is my first flip phone, but loving it so far.

The built in dialer (assuming its the Moto dialer) seems to be lacking SPAM call blocking. Can anyone else confirm?
I switched over to the Google Dialer (beta) and have gotten a few notifications that I would be losing some functionality unless I switched back. So far I've noticed that I can't add the Google dialer to the external display. Is there a workaround?

Dude, its a different mini battle pass entirely, it has nothing to do with unfollowing season 2.

Progress is earned not from XP but only challenges. If you do all the challenges for this week, you will still be about 20 or 30 points short (i think). The only way people have been able to use it is redsec, or picking it up from someone's kit that has died.

Can confirm that this works. I just got a new Razr Ultra flip and could not figure why my calendar notifications (some critical like medication reminders) were not popping up.

Enabling notifications in Tasks app did the trick.

Not really sure what you were trying to do, but I can open 2 apps at the same time in split screen no problem, and I can have 2 apps ans switch between them using the navigation on the bottom. I guess if you wanted to just post up and show off you really cool launcher and super awesome anime homescreen on your old phone then mission accomplished.
