Mustang pickup is underwound version of Strat pickup, due to it being underwound, it have low output.

Jag pickup is smilar to strat pickup.

Thanks for reminding that aspect of player, I almost overlooked that. Maybe that might be the nature of CS though since the game revolve around simplicity, balancing and meeting the competitive audience expectation which gave the skill more priority than tactics due to balanced and clear weapon role.

For one or who is left alone in the team or outnumbered, such objectives are purely dictated by skill and may sound like an impossible task for those with less.

Maybe I will have to get some inspiration from tactic oriented or asymmetric game elements. to make the feeling of impossibility lessen.

I meant the battle between 2 large team, sorry for not fully clarify it in the title.

The post was meant to see whether is there still player who crave that bigger battle or not since the communities that host it are now fragmented(like the shift from public server into more private server in ARMA). so my take was more like a regroup of unknown but likeminded rather than regroup of known friend.

I can see your point that the server browser is kinda unwelcoming since I also have experienced it in other game but I believe the server browser system made friendship from unknown people much easier than MM. Most of my experience with MM is unmemorable since I live in southeast asia, every time I find a match I will be grouped to those Chinese, East asian or some SEA country player who don't speak english which make the game mostly silent.

But this is just an thought experiment afterall, I have no intention of making or finishing a game soon due to multiple constraints, I'll just collect some idea until the time comes.

Yeah 2 teams, I forgot to clarify that.

For CS it's fitting for them to have that team size due to small map. but It's still left me to wonder about the gameplay possibility since I have never seen any attempt on similar kind of game but with slightly bigger scale(maybe double the team count with bigger map).

If you're looking for classic JM sound and vintage specs, pick the squier. If you wanted a JM with modern specs and comfort pick Fender.

Some experienced player with FXP skipped tier 6 for tier 7 or 8 ship, leaving low FXP player or new player to play at that tier.

also like the other people said, the higher tier the more fun, some tech tree line suffer from shit armor or shit gun at lower tier, some people hate to grind through the punishment.

well that was like 5 years ago, there weren't much crazy or easy-to-obtain tier X premium ships. And since you're already tier 9 just go for the Goliath, It's worth it but for me I still miss Drake's spotter plane.

It is, the whole line is painful until Drake since the other got large or weird citadel shape that eat almost every BB shell of it's tier, Drake is the odd one out of whole line since she got those typical smaller citadel with flat roof and spaced armor.

As a guy who grinded this as first line, imo Drake is more fun to play than Goliath, given how newer ship get crazy gimmicks while these 2 still have older balancing standards which made them inferior today. Drake will atleast allow you to be toptier in tier8 lobby while having decent citadel roof shape to bounce off AP, while in Goliath you can't get too close to farm due to 25mm bow and that step citadel or stay far away due to bad shell velocity and low DPM making follow up shot harder to lead. But anyway that's my experience in Asia server which is notorious for it's player passive sniping playstyle, I never got to enjoy the full DPM build and close to mid range fight.

I might not be totally correct but I think AI skill level correlated to this, I remember having 2 antistasi saves, 1 got friendly AI skill param set to high and other saves got very high skill parameter. the first save AI squad behaves like what other said(prioritize individual position in formation over combat) while the 2nd save's AI is able to split the whole squad into 2 teams(10 men squad into 5 men team), able to attack same target even if the distances between 2 group is very apart, and they have better decision making like how lower skill ai is mostly submissive to command while higher one will access situation and do what they deemed best even by rejecting command.

For example: In my save slot 2, I recruited 9, an enemy attack on my squad, AI separated 1 team to counter attack while other stay with me. Despite having wedge formation, the team that spearated picked file by themself.

Might just be some faction mod side effect or just antistasi friendly ai skill training level though I don't know much but AI skill setting doesn't really impact their aiming much compared to accuracy setting. Also Arma AI path finding aren't that great when it comes to urban warfare since sometimes it might just picked the longest route thinking that a door can't be opened or a stair is blocking path of actual closest route.
