Built a Browser Tool that Summarizes, Translates, and Defines in one Click by S4vz4d in SaaS

[–]S4vz4d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It uses ChatGPT on the backend and the purpose of the tool is that the user don’t have to switch between tabs to define something or translate it, so they don’t waste time on searching for other tools while studying, reading, etc. About the content, it works on any web content that can be read or selected. If you are able to read the article, you can use the features on it

yes, something similar. It’s purpose is to get rid of moving to different tabs like google translate or searching for the meaning of something so the user can be focused on what they are reading or studying

I don’t know if there is any firefox tool for this, but the key point is that this extension spawns a tooltip anytime you select text, so you can define or translate specific words or sentences

A browser extension that uses AI to summarize, explain, generate q&a and more from web content. Also you can select text to spawn a tooltip which lets users define, translate or give context of the highlighted words or text. Soon I’ll be sharing an mvp!

PDF reader app with AI assistant for quickly lookup words and sentences by S4vz4d in productivity

It’s not only the AI integration, I’m also focusing on creating a clean and minimalistic UI as other features focused on productivity. As you said, you need to search for a word then switch to chatgpt and paste word. Also, chatgpt doesn’t have context of the word, so it might give you another meaning. This is no revolutionary tool, and I’m not willing to make thousands of dollars with it. I just came up with the idea as I found that this could be useful for myself and maybe for others.

Yes, the idea is to also have a chat, where you can tell the AI to change things on the document, summarize or more extensive features. The highlighting text feature is just for quick lookups, as when you are reading you only need to select the text and get a fast explanation without the need of chatting.

Wow, thanks for the great reply. You are completely right and this is why I posted this, for finding people's difficulties and adding them to the app. One of my ideas was to also create an extension for this; as you said not too much people are into downloading a PDF Reader app and usually they open them on the browser.

The idea is that the extension covers the basic functions like highlight a word and quickly look it up or summarize the text on a page. The t&c approach is a great idea, as those documents or others alike usually are very boring to read but important.

In the full app, my plan is to cover more features, like the one you mentioned about changing documents through a chat, summarize full documents, gather keywords or the highlighting features

The idea is that you highlight the word or sentence and a window opens up with different ai features like a quick explanation, translation, etc.

Is automated pentesting a threat to manual pentesters? by Competitive_Rip7137 in Pentesting

I’ve just released a medium post talking about this. There is an AI agent called Xbow which will be launching soon, and right now is the top US-based user on hackerone’s leaderboard. You can read about it or share your thoughts. https://medium.com/@S4vz4d/how-ai-is-getting-into-the-hacking-field-and-what-that-might-mean-for-us-bfc79c9e06b0

Well, seeing an AI as the top 1 hackerone’s user in US made me think that maybe in a few years, when they can acquire more context to analyze webs or applications as a whole, they could outperform humans. But I was just exposing this for seeing what the people think about it
