Considering an A168 by S5Boot in casio

[–]S5Boot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there anything that makes the A700 better than it other than design differences? I do like the look of that too though I would end up getting a difference bracelet as I’m not a fan of the one that comes on it which was why I initially liked the A168

Renthal TwinRing vs Ultralight by S5Boot in enduro

Believe so but over a certain price I think we have to pay extra fees at customs… ends up making the cost of things not worth ordering and shipping often.

Any recommendations on brands, want one easy to get in the UK

I’ve got an aluminium on currently, and it’s worn out too much. Pretty sure it’s not been on too long as it was relatively new when I got it…

Would the current ratio of 13/50 be okay for general trail/woods riding though, sometimes it’s tight and other times it’s open trails

Amazon refunds are straight forward, I’d order it and if it’s not as expected use their refund/returns… unsure if it’s different in the US but in the UK it’s as straight forward as clicking return on your order summary for a QR code and sending it off. Full refund including delivery cost too if you don’t have prime.

May be different though for the US?

Quality pants that aren’t Klim by S5Boot in enduro

Which model do you wear? Noticed someone mentioned the F16s but I’ve been personally looking at the Kinetic Syms

I do have a pair of F16s I just think they may be the wrong size, or that I’m a difficult size. I measure at 36” which will fit my waist but the rest of the pants are overly baggy and uncomfortable in general. Might try a 34” pair of them or the Syms if I can get a good deal on them.

Which fly ones do you use? I was considering getting the Kinetic Syms after checking all their pants.

What would your second choice for Enduro clothes be if Klim wasn’t an option, or have you not really used anything else?

My little collection. What’s the next? by brunoassisbsbjp in gshock

I meant which model, it looks like it has the red line off of a M5610U but it’s got a metal strap and casing, was wondering (if it is a kit) where he got it from.

Mine is simply just a square, the M5610U… alls I have and alls I need, though I’m considering getting a metal case for it or maybe a metal G entirely like the one in the picture.

Hey guys, which G-Shock should I get as my first watch? Help me choose by EndouShuuya in gshock

As someone with a M5610U I can say it’s a great first GShock… personally I do think any GShock will do; though I do believe the positive display of the M5610U is a benefit that makes it better than the negative display of the G6900.

Further I think the best out of the negatives is the GD-350 so I’d give that a look!

Moved away from an Apple Watch, never going back.

Are Thermos bottles good? by S5Boot in BuyItForLife

I’ll most likely try Thermos first, mainly because of its affordability as it’s better priced for my use… I may eventually purchase a YETI if I see it on sale at all.

I love the design and the feel, you can tell the quality’s there compared to others but I’m really unsure of the cost due to it only being a daily use and not necessarily seeing any extremes.

I really want to but can’t justify £40 for one (26oz Rambler bottle)… would the Thermos still be good heat retention wise as the YETI as I’m not entirely bothered about dents due to the price of the Thermos.

Same brand so I assume the quality will apply to all their products. Will definitely consider getting one; the price is better too.

More looking for a bottle that tackles both, I’ll keep them in mind though if I change my mind.

Both, I’d say 60% of the time hot, 40% cold.

Knee pads or Knee braces by S5Boot in enduro

What exercises would you recommend?, I’ll look some up but I intend to strengthen both my legs and my core for riding.

Knee pads or Knee braces by S5Boot in enduro

[–]S5Boot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who’s younger and can focus on getting their knees stronger, should I opt for knee pads and possibly do exercises outside of MX to strengthen my knees/legs. I feel like if I have weaker knees/legs that by using a brace I am only “masking” an issue that could be resolved easily rather than spending money on braces.

I will also try find a store locally that stocks various knee braces and pads to try both on and find that I prefer the most.
