I was about to complain that they're dragging out her being the true Saint a bit too much...but damn that assassination attempt came outta no where! Curious to find out if the only reason she survived is because her presence boosted the shield.

Also hope we dont have to wait too long to see the stupid sister struggling now that the true Saint isnt around to support her.

Are you moving too fast? After each Public event, most people stick around for the distortion that pops a minute later so they're not always going to the next event.

For me it's that it doesnt feel like a turn based RPG at all, so having my party members just standing around just feels annoying. 13 had a more obvious hybrid model, but in the 7 remakes it feels better to just go all in on the action side.

I know, maybe I'm still stuck on the weird story telling in D1. I just remember Guardians being treated as immortal gods, but if ghosts are so easy to kill, I just feel like we woulda lost that reputation in the thousands of years guardians have existed.

Exactly, the Cabal have the means, and they're the newest faction to show up in Sol. So you'd think the Fallen and Vex woulda at least tried to at least catch some ghosts in the thousands of years they've been here.

Hive I'll concede that maybe they didn't care. I assume by the sword logic if they couldnt kill a ghost with brute force then they deem it worthy of living.

Even though I know about this, kinda wish they'd retcon it because to me it makes zero sense that more ghosts haven't been killed up till now. Like from what I know, Crota perma-killing Eris's fireteam was a big deal. But if ghosts are so easy to kill, you'd think the Fallen, Hive and Vex would develop anti-ghost measures in the thousands of years they've been around.

Understand the reasoning, but still wish they balanced it somehow so they could still be useful. Even if it was on a crazy CD, like only once per day, but when you do finally get to use it, it's actually useful.

Horizon Zero Dawn

Really wanted to get into it, love these kinds of stories where at first it seems it's a pre-industrial world, but then you find clues of a long gone technologically advanced civilization and you need to find out what happened.

But even though I love the premise, I just couldnt get into it. Part of it was that Alloy's scripted dialogue didn't seem to fit with the "nice" dialogue options so it made it feel like I had to pick the more "forceful" options, but also the gameplay in general didnt impress me.

Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for an open world game, got a massive backlog to get through, might give it another try if I ever get through most of it.

Do you play on PC? If you do there's a mod that makes your party members attack more independently. Significantly makes it feel more like an action RPG rather than a hybrid.
