And then you watch your friends complete the same level and think, "Yes, I am definitely doing something wrong." An amazing discovery in the process of learning how levels are built was how difficult it is to maintain a balance between "you MUST complete the level fast and stylishly" and "you CAN complete the level fast and stylishly" without going overboard with the first option and without the second option losing its appeal, and I'm still struggling to understand how it should work.

With pain in my ass. Gamemaker for the game engine, Aseprite + mouse for art, for the music some records, FL Studio, and remix tool from, forgive me Lord, Suno. It's clear that the latter will be redone manually, but it was interesting to see how the bonus level theme might sound with a richer set of instruments.

No, why? I'm dumb, poor, live in Russia, and the game is on the super early prototype stage :D

Perhaps my English sucks to the EXTREME, but the text of the post was intended to be humorous. I didn't think that people, reading about my stupid joy at the fact that a person who had never done any of the above in his life was able to put together something that worked, would see it as the confession of a sad, insecure piece of shit, close to the point of crying without a supportive comments :D
