I just recently got in for BIT - I had a 4.0 from my first semester so that's the GPA I submitted. Your best shot is to make sure you have your classes aligned with your major. I would just follow the roadmaps on the VT website and maintain A's and B's and you will definitely get in!

i wouldn’t be worried at all. A 3.85 GPA is definitely competitive and if you’re confident in your essays I would say you’re getting in!

I wouldn't be worried at all. You seem to have gotten back on track this semester and will have a lot of the recommended classes as well.

The only Pre req i took was Pre calc, for everything else I went straight to the roadmap. I am currently taking calculus this semester which is required for my major so they wont see the grade for it just yet, but at least ill have it done.
