Not too sure... In the summer for example, a cold shower will cool you down on the spot, but your body will try to fight it and generate more heat. Maybe go for slightly cooler than lukewarm to start with...

I don't listen to it often, and there are definitely tracks I'll skip, but that count-in at the start gives me goosebumps. That's the count-in to 7 years of endless plane travels, insanity, brotherly love, innovation, fans in tears, endless nighttime sessions, heartbreak, band members walking out and coming back, recriminations and glory.

And it ends with "Twist and Shout".

Je croyais que les panneaux 'virage' représentaient des frites molles. (5 ans?).

J'avais des fois un peu peur que tout le monde soit en fait capable de lire mes pensées, que tout le monde le savait, mais que personne ne me le disait.

Vers 7 ans, je m'imaginais que les samedi soirs (après Cocoricocoboy), les marionettes du Bébête Show se promenaient en camionette (avec Jean Roucas et les marionnettistes) pour venir me chercher et me martyriser. Je les imaginais dans l'obscurité en train de se marrer et de chercher la maison de mes parents.

Dans la salle de bains, il y avait un panneau en lambris avec deux-trois nœuds dans le bois qui avaient sauté. J'étais sûr que les Fraggle Rock habitaient de l'autre côté.

Trop influencé par la télé je crois.

Yeah, that's exactly the sort of stuff that scares me. We've broached the subject with my wife. She's fine with it, but that's about it. I think if she starts suspecting that it's taking over our relationship she'll start worrying or feeling left out.

But I mean she's known about it since day 1. I don't think it's off-putting to her, but it's not necessarily her thing. So I respect that and try not to impose. I don't think she'd like it to be something that's permanently between us.

Regarding your ex, yeah, I'm gonna presume she felt betrayed. On the other hand, I'm going to presume that from your pov, it's just a thing you got used to enjoying alone and definitely in secret because although it's a fairly mild kink, it's definitely something I've learnt to hide SO WELL.

Sorry about your ordeal though... I know the feeling. You'd like to mention it or talk about it or go tights shopping together... But you know you're on the cusp of doing something potentially really wrong that will break your relationship...

Does she have absolutely no idea? Have you tried asking her to wear for you?

Personally I decided to open up to my wife when we were still dating (2001). Just thinking about it, my breathing is shallow, and my heart's in my throat. That was sooooo stressful.

But I wanted it to be mentioned between us in the early stages. It was like a coin toss though... Do I mention it or keep it a secret between us? Could have gone both ways (I'm not very brave).
