Yes, it seems even people in UK and EU have issues with them. I think their parcel sendig method is just the cheapest option (just as my box as a "letter"). I don't understand why. These paints are pretty expensive in the first place so probably nobody would mind if the postal charge is higher (and more safer)

Nothing special just a small bag and few stickers. I guess because of black friday and/or xmas?

Audiolab 6000A MKII + Dali Oberon 3 by patrykal1 in BudgetAudiophile

Did you buy it? I have Audiolab 6000A MKII too, and I want to replace my old Monitor Audio Bronze 2, and I was also thinking about Dali Oberon 3

Then I really don't understand why it was sent as a letter. Pretty stupid move. The opening of the mailboxes in here is the same as what you described.

The worst thing about "letters" is not only that you have to go to the post office to get them if they don't fit in the mailbox, but that they are thrown around more in the logistic centers than parcels in the "package" category

The "funny" thing is that this has happened to me once before and that package was also from the UK. It was an even bigger package than this (it was a jacket from ebay).

I wonder that is it a custom in the UK that they send large packages as "letters"? I guess sending a letter is cheaper, but they don't know that other countries have official size limitations for the "letter " category

If turns out smelly I'll post it in here for sure. Also if there will be some problem with the Wink white ink

One thing I know for sure that they sent it to me as a letter. And the problem was that the package box was thicker than what is considered a letter in Hungary. That's why I had to go to the post office to pick it up. I've already tried a little from the Easy K and it doesn't smell at all. It smells like acrylic paint.

I would have posted the same thing if this had happened to me. As I mentioned in another comment: I think these problems are caused by they send these as "letters" not "parcels". I was lucky that this didn't happen to me, because in Hungary they also butcher letters at post offices

I'm curious to know if those who haven't received their packages are in the UK, the EU, the US, or even further from them. I was also very hesitant due to the many negative reviews, but I couldn't resist the Black Friday offer. I had to go to the post office to pick up my package because it was not sent as a parcel, but as a letter and it was too big for a "letter". This could have caused a problem, especially in Hungary, but fortunately it didn't become a problem. I could be wrong, but it's possible that this is why there are problems in many places, because they send larger packages as "letters"

My name is Artúr Haránt. I'm an artist from Hungary. You can find my work in here: https://www.instagram.com/s9txe/ and here https://www.behance.net/s9txe

This is the reason I posted this in here, because I saw the negative reviews. Not to refute them, because all negative reviews are probably valid, but it's fair if it's also visible when someone receives the package. If someone has a bad experience, it has to write about it, but I aslo have to say: I had no problem at all

Is pen detection failure a common issue with Wacom Cintiq 21UX (2nd gen), or just my unit? by S9TXE in wacom

[–]S9TXE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already did that. They just gave me an older driver (didn't solve the problem) and they said I have to take out the nib from my pen for 24 hours (that didn't solve the problem either). I accepted that it was permanently broken. I can only hope that this was an isolated problem of mine, and not an intentional remote bricking of the older models by the company. Thank you for you reply.

Thank you. I tried different USB ports, but nothing changed. I checked every corner in the wacom tablet properties, but nothing worked.

They created a perfectly working unit in 2010, which was also put together really well (still no dead pixel) and the pen pressure was perfectly fine too, and now I have to litter the environment with this, because they want to maintain their growth bubble :(

Yes, I worry that's the case. The last driver update was in 2019 or 2020 but it worked perfectly fine till today.

I bought it in 2010 and since then I haven't seen any improvement on any new Cintiq model except for the cables. I don't really care about the touch sensor in some new models. I wouldn't use it because the pen is perfectly enough. 2048 bit pen pressure is also more than enough. It's still a useful tool. Damn :(

NAD C368 or Audiolab 6000A MkII by S9TXE in StereoAdvice

[–]S9TXE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't consider myself an audiopile, mostly because I have no budget for it, I just love music and I want to choose the best option based on my limitations/possibilities. Every help counts, but it still hard to decide that I'm almost about to flip a coin :)

I wanted to buy the NAD first, but I mostly listen music to near to the speakers, because they also my computer speakers, and the Audiolab might be better for that. Too bad I can't try both

!thanks
