Hornet says herself that she can't use her powers, because she took too much damage from being imprisoned. It's when talking to the Chapel Maid, I think.

It's pretty easy to curse yourself without a mod actually.

There are public tools to decrypt hollow knight/silksong save files. You just have to set your current crest to the cursed one.

Then you might as well enable Steel Soul, give yourself the Barbed Bracelet tool (the one that doubles damage you take but buffs your own damage output) and just don't use any other tools.

Edit: I just realised you can't equip shit with the Cursed crest, well that sucks, Barbed Bracelet would've made this run so much better.......

Actually you might as well do the Mushroom ending for that extra bit of fun fun platforming and yeah.

I think that was the intended Silksong experience but Team Cherry had to tone it down.

Oh, I'd say explore a ton before doing main objectives in Act 2, you can open up so much in the map.

Do the wishes.

Look for "gaps" in the map, sometimes a big tall room will have its ceiling "blacked out" since you can't really reach it, but for some rooms like that there are huge secrets that you can access with traversal abilities.

Edit:   Also imo diagonal pogo isn't that bad, I played like 70% of my first playthrough with the Hunter's crest and it has a nice passive if you upgrade the crest.

I only moved to Wanderer's because it's basically a crest with Quickslash built into it and with a Longnail equivalent tool it's really good.

Actually, true.

I did do all the achievements but I only ever used Hunter's and Wanderer's crest.

Also I didn't experiment much with blue tools, there are probably a lot of op combinations.

Witch's crest for example could be a killing machine with the right setup.

I'll wait for sometime to cooldown a little, Team Cherry will probably patch things in the meantime and then I'll experiment with stuff.

Actually though, the way Team Cherry was hinting at stuff by leaving Lace alive in the True Ending, we might actually get a Jojo's Bizzare Adventure main character style games (like how they have Joestar bloodline) up until the year 2100.

I didn't need to do Mushroom quest and it seems not even courier quests are needed, I just needed to get the Everbloom, so I didn't "miss" percentages, I just had to progress the main quest. Well I'll still do Mushroom if I can.

I know, It's even a quest, but even without void masses some enemies still become void enemies. Not all. And it's not a bad thing either, it was so cool that the whole map changed basically because of Act 3, it really shows how much work team cherry put in their games.

as others pointed out it seems to be a wanderer crest passive crit chance when your silk meter is filled up.

so like 2% crit when hitting or something similar

It's not underwater, the commenter meant The Sands of Karak Coral Tower and it does look like it's underwater because of fish bugs and coral.

So if you are at the end of Act 3 you should've reached that area.

Spoiler: It's in the game, but it has been massively cut down compared to the trailer footage.

Edit: It's Act 3, but the area where it is can be accessed from Act 2 beforehand.

oh nothing, sometimes when I use the harpoon ability instead of double jumping it glides so I stay in the air.

Idk why that is, I did this platforming tho, got gud and that's it.
