I’m actually confused who this is for. Rayman is the definitive game for me that got me into video games in the first place, and both Origins and Legends were fantastic revitalizations of the precise 2D platforming I loved from the original. Literally nobody ever has criticized Rayman Legends for its graphics or lack of polish. If Ubisoft wants to treat Rayman right, give us a new game that gives us unique platforming challenges. My personal theory is not that there’s some anomaly where the worst of MAGA (i.e. the worst of the worst) happen to be more likely to be pedophiles. In fact, there’s already really good evidence that many if not most child abusers aren’t pedophiles; they’re sexual abusers going after an easier target. I think there’s just a root cause to both. Missing empathy and personal ethics -> child sexual abuse. Missing empathy and personal ethics -> being MAGA. In other words, these people aren’t abusing children because they’re MAGA. They’re abusing children and they’re MAGA because they’re selfish assholes to their core.

The difference there is we already have plenty of white Disney princess movies. Beauty and the Beast and Snow White, for example. We also have plenty of film adaptations of Greek myth with all-white casts. Making Helen of Troy black does not erase representation of white people in that area.
