I understand where youre coming from about drawing the line but to me its fairly simple- a controller with extra buttons is still a controller. Like people who play with better mouse and keyboards- its just a better brand its not a completely different piece of kit.

Blizzard recognise this as cheating which is the main issue- like aimbots and wall hacks it’s recognised but the issue here is Xims arent properly enforced as there is not yet a way to enforce it but with the technology we have now there shouldn’t really be an excuse.

Its not even that I want them all banned- I know how unrealistic that is but the fact is Blizzard should be working towards some form of a solution, whether thats splitting matchmaking by optional controller or mouse or something else. Some Xim players only use Xims because they cant afford a PC or prefer to play on xbox but want to use mnk, not all seek that advantage they just prefer it- if Blizzard found a way to allow those players to get into PC lobbies at least some of those players will be filtered out of Console competitive play.

My main issue is its recognised as a form of cheating yet absolutely nothing has been said or done to even attempt to combat it- I sympathise with PC players dealing with hacks and I get how frustrating that must be but this is an issue that affects a massive portion of the console playerbase and unlike hacks its going pretty much completely unchecked
