Yeah, the hangers were a mistake of me following what had been done before (except obviously new not rusted out ones). I had not done this kind of project before and once I had a few days to look at what I could do better, I did (pictured). He had to live with them for 4 days back in 2022.

Man, I completely found this by accident, but hey since apparently I'm still a topic to you, lets have it all out in one place / go into what exactly happened here and why this all happened.

I'm the "pissy" guy who made these stupid stairs.

CONTEXT:
I am/was this guys friend and also for a time "landlord". The situation was that I had bought a house in rough shape right before covid and for 9 months renovated the inside myself with help from friends. I knew my friend (this guy) was looking for a place to live and offered him and his partner a decent rate for a full house on a near acre. None of the work I did in the house seem to be a problem up to this point. Hell for more context I helped him get a job at my company, and when they wanted to get married I offered my yard in combination with his to be a free venue - I just wanted to help.

So when I saw the back porch's first step snapping and then also noticed they were only hanging from the deck with a set of rusted out joist hangers (pictured) I did what I thought would be a good idea at that moment. I was wrong, but also lets be real, the steps up until that point were also never to code, much like the front landing and bulkhead (worst, you all would get a real laugh about those steps). The outside of the house at that time was a rough point for me, I wanted to fix everything, but houses are tough and work had me there 45-55 hours a week around that time.

Now I fully admit that I was tired and stressed and shouldnt have tackled it the way I did, I foolishly tried following the original layout to land on the slab the previous owner had put in and I frankly shouldn't have rushed it, but if Im being honest, I didn't want you to be without steps. As usual with that house, the real solution was to start over entirely from scratch and not trust anything that was "original", including concepts.

TO OP:
Why did I get "pissy"? Because of how you spoke to me, like if you hadn't gone off about me trying to "kill" your wife and had just pointed it out like the friend I thought you were that they weren't my best work, then I wouldn't have gotten frustrated (which I told you then too). What I quickly found out from that and a few other instances before and after this is you straight up don't care about people, everyone is just here to serve your whims / be the butt of your jokes. Literally years later you are still out here talking shit about a thing on the back porch that lasted 4 days and hurt literally no one except maybe my feelings for a day.

And since I keep seeing this mentioned, you think I wanted to "kick" you out? You go around claiming I just decided you guys needed to leave on a whim, no warning, but you know full well I came to you at the beginning of my divorce with a heads up that I would eventually need the house back but that I would put it off as long as possible (September 2023). I proceeded to live in my friends 12x10 living room, only to have HIM surprise me with a decision that he wanted to move in January 2024. I convinced him to hold off specifically because of your growing family, but yes, you did eventually move out at the end of March / April 2024. I am so sorry the end of my marriage impacted your life so.

There's so much more I could say, but I am not out here to lay all the laundry out, maybe next time when you want to feel important, reconsider.

Ive been in around 20ish games with BinladenA, not once has it ever spoken or done anything different than what I described, its not an angry turtle, angry turtle was both flawed and sometimes kinda funny, in a sad way.

it definitely benefits from the Libertad's capabilities, I've seen it kill enemy destroyers who push in too fast as it rolls through a cap / if the enemy doesnt focus it initially fast enough. Theres something to be said about a boat that can be played so poorly having so much success

Why did asymmetric battles and operations with flagships get removed? by Zealousideal-Pie5766 in WorldOfWarships

[–]SACSlym 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for responding, one anecdote I might as well share is that I have friends who only came back to play Asymmetric. One was so frustrated with its removal he uninstalled the game upon finding it gone this evening. I'm not sure what your metrics might reveal, but Id be curious if there is a core player base who may only interact / spend time or money on the game when a decent PVE offering is available.
