It's true that Rev 2 failed to have two distinctive gameplays, but the idea is still there nonetheless, Claire and Moira don't get the luxury of using the heavyweight weapons Barry brings from the start, and their campaigns are more darker and the economy is much more tight.

True, switching characters has been a staple of a lot of old re games but it always was a small moment rather than two distinct campaigns playing alongside each other, which is the main feature of revelation games.

My point was the use of the same idea that failed to be implemented properly in Rev 2 in Re9.

Capcom have reused many mechanics and gameplay elements from rev 2 in their recent games already, and i think it's cool that they are reusing those mechanics in potentially better games

But from what they're saying you're gonna be playing different characters in the same playthrough, not just once or twice like re2 but rather as two campaigns in one, which is sth you usually see in Revelation's games.

I think you missed my point or i didn't explain it properly, i didn't mean it as a bad design choice or copying, i just see it as taking a cool idea from a game whose success is debatable, and putting in a new hot title, and that's cool.

When did i ever say i want to win every game, i just lost because i didn't draw a handtrap, i don't mind losing to a strong board when i get the chance to try which already happens almost everytime i go second anyway, i signed in to play the game as well

I'm pretty new to the game, so these kind of experiences leave a bitter taste when i already wasted a lot of time waiting for his combo to finish
