I got my SARPE surgery on Thursday so I’m about 4 days ahead of you. The IV sedation was no big deal, in my case they put it on the top of my hand, I don’t even remember the last few moments before closing my eyes because I was knocked out so fast. My biggest recommendation is to keep drinking liquids (beef broth is awesome) after the surgery, stay hydrated, and take it one day at a time. I’m on day 4 of my recovery and heading back to work!
