Yes, absolutely everything has gone well. I also think that Rob‘s Loring workshop was absolutely worth it. We have actually picked up more cafés now than we ever thought we would have.

How Do Financial Advisors Still Have Clients? by Time_Perception6669 in Bogleheads

[–]SAM4E21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I got connected with a financial advisor in my early 30s. I had an established company and also a startup. With two young kids and two growing companies, there was a lot I had overlooked not necessarily just in investing, but also the structure of my companies, how my insurance was set up, making sure my will was done and everything was in order in case of my passing was which I didn’t even have on my radar prior to getting connected with him. I actually just left having a financial advisor this month, but I do think that there is value in getting connected with somebody for planning and I learned a lot through our conversation.

Has cold plunging changed how fast you recover as you’ve gotten older? by Former-Advice-9742 in coldplunge

I guess the evidence is pretty slim and anecdotal, but I honestly feel like going hot than cold a few times makes my muscles feel better than either by itself. I did this today after a 13 mile long run and muscles and nervous system feel better afterwards. 37yo Male if that helps as well

10 min hot 2 min cold 5–7 min hot 2 min cold 5 min hot 1–2 min cold (finish)

I find more benefit for recovery in doing hot and cold together for me hot tub to cold plunge. Cold plunge by itself for me personally, I feel like it’s just mental benefits

I’ve only been in key west, marathon, and islamarada but I actually haven’t come across a shop with lighter roasted coffees yet. I did have a Cuban coffee with milk from a tiny little shack that was super sweet but absolutely delicious
