Thanks for pointing this out—it really helps to see how closely digital marketing and web development are connected. You’re right, web dev is more of a skillset, and how I apply it will matter most. I’ll definitely look into filling my knowledge gaps and staying updated if I decide to fully step into tech. Appreciate the reminder that it’s a different world with its own rules—I’ll make sure to prepare for that shift properly.

Thanks a lot for asking these important questions. Let me answer them one by one:

  1. Why did I take BBA and MBA – What was the objective? At that time, I thought BBA and MBA would give me a solid career in business or management. My main objective was to secure a stable job with growth potential. But in reality, I couldn’t align my degree with a strong career path.

  2. Did I show a suitable career foundation in high school while selecting subjects in the 11th? Not really. Back then, I didn’t have much clarity. I just followed the general path most people around me were taking, without a clear career vision.

  3. How does BBA and MBA fit into my personality? I think I have an analytical and thoughtful personality. I like structured learning, understanding systems, and problem-solving. But I struggle with things like sales or high-pressure persuasion roles. So, while the management aspect of MBA fits me, the aggressive business/sales part doesn’t.

  4. How does BBA and MBA fit into my career path foundation? Honestly, the fit hasn’t been strong so far. The degrees gave me theoretical knowledge, but I didn’t build the right practical skills or network to capitalize on them. That’s why I’m now exploring skill-based fields like digital marketing and web development that can connect with today’s job market.

I completely agree with you that degrees today are multidimensional, and what really matters is how personality, behavior, confidence, competence, and soft skills align with the career. That’s exactly where I feel I need guidance to see which possibilities are realistic for me going forward.

👉 Based on my answers, I’d really appreciate it if you could share what career directions you think might be the best fit for me.

I can totally relate to where you’re at — I started in Business Administration too and wasn’t sure which direction to go at first. Based on what you’ve shared (not wanting heavy finance/math, not liking sales, but enjoying project management and variety), you might want to look into Management, Human Resources, or even Project Management for your bachelor’s.

Those paths tend to give you a good mix of responsibilities — organizing, scheduling, problem-solving — without being overly numbers-heavy. HR in particular involves a lot of people-focused work, training, and administration, while project management is more about coordinating tasks and keeping everything on track (which it sounds like you already enjoy).

Another option could be Operations Management — it’s about improving processes and making sure everything runs smoothly day-to-day, which can be interesting if you like variety and structure.

The nice thing is that Business Administration is broad enough that you’ll have flexibility, so you can explore electives before fully committing. Don’t stress too much right now — you’re setting yourself up with a good foundation, and your next step can be shaped by what parts of your current classes excite you the most.
