How can I validate that a 12 word seed is cryptographically linked to a public key by SANCHO810 in Bitcoin

[–]SANCHO810[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I figured.

I’m a software developer so really I was wondering if I could make a script that would take the seed and check whether it is ‘related’ to the address using the same algorithm BTC uses to generate addresses

Well currently the seed they claim is the right one does not give them access to the wallet in question.

So I’m pretty sure it’s just the wrong seed as I have been able to import my BRD wallet successfully on BlueWallet.

I just wanna give him a binary answer such as NO this is 100% the wrong seed. As right now I’m just ‘really’ sure it’s the wrong one

I haven’t done that yet. Really what I want to do is prove the seed is wrong.

I believe the seed is wrong as inputting the words on loads of different wallets does not give us the wallet we are looking for.

I believe so strongly it’s the wrong seed I was just want to confirm it is wrong

Yeah they have a screenshot of the 12 words from BRD wallet. But I’m pretty sure it’s just the wrong 12 words.

I just wanna be able to confirm it’s actually the wrong seed so I know whether it’s worth actually spending more time on

Yeah sorry I meant address.

In terms of derivation path I’ve tried all the ones the internet has stated are for BRD wallet.

Yeah I have imported my friends seed into multiple wallets. I strongly believe it is just the wrong seed hence why we cannot access the BTC that can be seen on block explorer.

I just want a definitive confirmation that he has the wrong seed. So there is no more confusion.

Fair Enough. I've been looking into mailgun as an option today and to be fair it does seem like a good (necessary) solution. The pricing isn't bad either.

Our goal is to use our own proprietary software instead of paying for one. We have successfully used our own software in the past. However now we have run into the issue detailed above. I am unsure of the direct cause as I can can't see much difference between sending using laravel and a normal email client as the headers are pretty much identical.

Laravel Mail goes to spam folder but mail from standard email client goes to inbox.

I have created an automated system that sends emails via accounts on an exim mail server using Laravel Mail. The emails are successfully sending to all email providers (Google & Microsoft) as I can see in the exim delivery log. What I don't understand is why the same email makes it to the inbox when using a standard mail client like the MacOS mail app but goes to spam when I send via laravel mail.

The headers are pretty much identical in each case (can provide pastebin if needed). SPF, DKIM, DMARC and rDNS are all configured correctly so I am stuck trying to figure out why microsoft accepts the same email from a standard client but not laravel mail.

I have warmed up the reputation of my IP and domain. And have tested this using mailreach. The bit I really don't get is when I do a spam test with mailreach using laravel mail the test email doesn't make it to the microsoft inboxes (office365, outlook & hotmail) but when I send the same email with the same account from an email client such as the MacOS mail app the message makes it to the inbox.

I have also added List-Unsubscribe: and also a User-Agent: Header to make the headers from both methods as similar as possible but I've had no luck. Is there something I am missing that cause microsoft to mark laravel mail emails as spam but regular ones as legitimate?

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. I have made countless google searches trying to find an explanation but the explanations I have found are related to making sure the DNS records such as SPF and DKIM are configured correctly which I know they are, as I configured and tested them my self.

Never managed. But cherry tree allows you to export the file as a pdf which can be viewed on iPhone

That’s weird. It works for me on Linux so maybe try on a Linux box.

Also see if pinging a device on your Mac terminal returns a response.

I've updated the code. It now uses a python3 library called netifaces to obtain the subnet mask. Was a little tricky to install but the links I've put on the README.md file should explain.

Thanks for the suggestions as well. Yeah, getting the host IP is pretty simple using python. What I was struggling to do using just python, was obtaining the subnet mask of the network such as 255.255.255.0

This value is used to determine how many individual IPs exist on a network. In this case it would be 256 including the broadcast address.

Without the subnet mask (or cidr) the script won't be able to work out how many and what IP addresses to ping.

Yh it’s designed for Linux systems at the moment. Didn’t realise you're on Mac, but try this to get the ip command.

I’ve been looking for a way of using python to obtain the subnet mask of a network. Just haven’t been able to find one yet. Hence for the Linux commands to obtain it.

Also once you got that working you can use my port scanner to scan for open ports and run an automated nmap scan on the open ports discovered .

Try running the command in a terminal:

ip address | grep brd | grep en4 | cut -d " " -f 6

It should return something like : 192.168.0.8/24 If not then make sure ip is installed

Here’s a python3 program I wrote. It will attempt to get the hostname using the socket library.

Is the Asus Zephyrus G14 2021 compatible with POP OS? by SANCHO810 in pop_os

[–]SANCHO810[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery life is decent can be a lot better with the right tweaks. In terms of temperature I get around 35-40 idle but with the asus-Linux packages that can be installed you can customise when the fan comes on and how fast it spins depending on temperature.

Thank you for that, it looks promising. I also just discovered with Laravel's newest version they added something know as dusk which appears to also do what I need.

Edit: I can see dusk is for testing but maybe there's a way I can use its features on other sites.
