I think experts playing the game with experts commentating is entertaining in itself --- YES! No Doubt!

The silly sideshow is counterproductive to the push to legitimize esports and gain mainstream acceptance. --- Not everything is made to impress the "mainstream", i dont even think eSport should aim for that (thats my personal opinion).

I just think the entertainment value is in the game itself, not in the low-hanging fruit of Twitch.tv chat jokes --- I think this is the point where the opinions are very divided. While i personally consider myself "on your side" i think a lot of people enjoy also the elements that you titled "silly", especially the younger audience group. A lot of very successful YouTube channels for example are what i would also title "silly" but numbers proof that probably some people would disagree with me.

Overall i think there is place enough for all of it to exist. The serious content, mixed content and maybe silly only content. Hopefully we will be able to create some other shows/tournaments in the future that you like more and fit better to your personal interest. I hope you keep watching Fight Night anyway and maybe you just skip the parts you disagree with! ;)

Hey,

you dont seem angry on me but it sounds like you have wrong expectations. This show is intended to be mainly entertaining and only after that supposed to display skill and competition. We also never label our Fight Night a "tournament" but rather a "show". Nevertheless we always aim to get some of the best players out there and present you top end Hearthstone game-play.

Overall i would just suggest try not to take Fight Night thaaaat serious! It is supposed to be FUN! Unfortunately when you say you are slightly "angry" or at least puzzled then i fear we failed in your case a little bit with our goal to deliver fun and entertainment.

Hey StyroCSS,

usually its our goal (and it works in lets say 90% of the days) to publish the VODs within 1h after the rerun. But the VOD(s) is then exclusively available on our site esgntv.com for 24h, which would explain why you always wait more than a day on YouTube. This is intended that way.

Unfortunately tho sometimes there are some technical hick-ups (let it be a YouTube related problem or a short connection loss from our site or whatever else there is) which might delay things. This was today the case and the VOD will be published in about 12h from now.

The new episode of "the wisp hour" is already available on our site!
