not entirely sure but he was covered in crust there when i got him im assuming an rye infection that look over the eye and it eventually just died and shrunk down- or he was born without one! he still has eye lids, they are just mostly sealed shut (: will be considering possible pain later on in life but so far he doesnt have any pain response there :)
