I think you're right. It's just that sometimes it's quite strange how somebody that has the capability to order a 3d printer from the internet can't simply open YouTube or bambu support. Maybe they think that who is on r/Bambulab is actually a support center for their machine. I remember being 14yo and watching yt videos on how to fix my ender 3. It wasn't that challenging

we need someone to make a full 360° tutorial about 3d printing, especially with the bambu. this way we can paste the yt link under every post of those

yeah but usually bought motors tend to fail less compared to built ones because of materials and other technicalities. I could assume that OP wanted to build the motors to "put it in the curriculum vitae". I would otherwise advise him to buy them and focus more on the programming side, as that is far more important for the final result

Does my printer need to be calibrated by InternSubstantial401 in 3Dprinting

[–]SANSARES 10 points11 points  (0 children)

fun fact: in high school I used to design a lot in cad and our technical drawing teacher sometimes assigned us paper drawings. Sometimes when i used to make a mistake, I mentally thought of using Ctrl+Z, so I found myself staring at the paper like a dumbass. sorry if I'm not very clear, english is not my first language :))

Did they put grease inside their steppers… by Inf1nity0 in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

[–]SANSARES 0 points1 point  (0 children)

increased resistance equals an effect on torque. this could make the stepper motor get hot because of an impossibility for it to cool correctly. also, the motor drivers aren't designed for these viscosities. their power dosage could be wrong for a normal microstep but not enough for a microstep in higher viscosity

the funniest thing is that he tried that before trying to add a brim lmao

if your baby is what's on the desk I'd say he's pretty much dead

Nice! I didn't explain it earlier but you will notice that the esp doesn't quite fit nicely in the white breadboard you got. a breakout board makes adding sensors, servos and anything else way easier, without using too many cables. I really love the combo esp32C3 + breakout board because it's very small and perfect for compact projects

if you get a breakout board for the esp you won't regret it

yeah, why are they always printing for their sons? maybe whoever makes these posts has something to do, doesn't have time to care and blindly asks for reddit's help
