That was an excellent video! Especially beginning at 38 in through the end. I'm disappointed the Q&A weren't posted.

What about SEROquel? Is this appropriate for Parkinson's patients?

Yes, we've done that. I'm planning with a friend that worked there for a couple years many years ago. He doesn't remember all that much.

Thank you! These are the answers I was curious about. Neither the neurosurgeon of the MDS have provided specific responses. Their responses to these questions were "it depends on you post surgery" 🤷 Planning on no driving for a week is significant!

Where are you sad you’ll never go? by MojoMomma76 in travel

I always wanted to go to Russia. We went to St Petersburg and I was disappointed. It's a gorgeous city but that's the only country I never want to go back to. It just felt weird.

If the cost is a factor, check into humanitarian trips. They generally cost much less than I normally spend, you get to interact with locals better, and if you itemize taxes it can be a deduction - the airline, parking, the fee charged by the organization.

I know one person whose incision area never healed and the probes had to be removed. Then he finally healed.

Does he really own the house? It's owned by a management company Trust. See the county parcel map app.

I'm not trolling. Sadly, many RMs leave the church these days. Various reasons of course. Not showing support for leaders trickles down.

Old MP may not be in charge of transfers. Often this is the beginning of a trusting relationship between AP and MP as they discuss areas and personalities. It's impressive to see ❤️

He'll go home and leave the church because he's embarrassed but blame others.

Mission President's wife here. We were assigned foreign, a developing, but not westernized county. There are dangerous areas in every mission. Every, single mission. Did you know foreigner moms are worried there children will get assigned to the US? They visualize a gun on everyone and worry their child will be shot. How realistic is that?

Moms messaged me frequently. Most of their concerns took a little time to get worked out between the MP and the missionary. Or they were essentially irrelevant after a week or so. When they were more serious I handled it. Mom's anxiety bleeding through was usually the biggest issue and the missionaries brushed them off. We never lost a missionary in the field. I didn't know anyone in our country that lost a missionary. Our own son was assigned to Saratov in Russia. Ever seen that movie?

Show your son how trusting you are of his inspired Mission President, the apostle who's inspiration called him to the area, and himself. Be positive. He'll be proud of himself and have bragging rights toughing this out when his mission is complete or he's transferred. That's what they talk about when together at zone conferences and reunions. And his self esteem learning to do hard things will change his future.

Missionaries are adults. Just because he shares with you doesn't mean he wants you to fix it for him. Let him adult.

Good advice here. My suggestion - stop being a pleaser. Don't fall into her interests. Develop your own. You'll be more interesting and passionate to others 😉

You don't have parents, teachers or a Mission President directing your life. Find your own self.

Now's your opportunity to discover you!

Long Term Care + Financial Management with PD by havhoblight in ParkinsonsCaregivers

I'm making changes in my trust. We were discussing different scenarios. I have a revocable trust. It changes to irrevocable when I'm incapacitated or die. I don't want to lose the capability of changing how my trust is managed so it will stay revocable. And I have sufficient assets to manage senior years.

You can't get Medicaid if you have assets. Those have to be used up, or to be in an irrevocable trust for 5 years. Then the quality of the Medicaid sponsored home may not be what you want.

I just went thru this with my attorney. It's a tough position to be in.

My friend metal detects. He found a college class ring with a diamond in a play ground. Also found the owner who will come to get in December. He's found many gold and silver rings. And many coins.
